There's no rush to complete Deadpool Daily.
And I was responding to someone that said they never use Kate because they're in 5* land.
Not using Kate because she's not part of a faster pick three 4* combination is a different conversation. It means you use 4*s when needed but don't choose Kate because you have something better.
I think that illustrates a reason for her to be updated. There are worse characters, but maybe there's an easier fix to give you reason to use her.
I do the node with Kate and Mockingbird because it's fun trying to set up the AI to activate Mockingbird activating Kate to fire her powers for free, and there's no need to worry about doing it quickly or losing placement.
There's no pressure or need to use meta characters, because there's no benefit from doing it quickly. (Unless you're in hurry due to your schedule) Which is nice after rushing through everything else at specific times with specific teams.
By all means, use whichever 4s work best for your needs when they are required. But you're suggesting specific 4s to me when I was just asking someone who said they don't use 4s at all because they're in "5 land" if they skip nodes that don't allow 5*s

Why do you need speed to do the 4* node in DDQ? Personally I love to use various 4* mix n match ups.
Because DDQ is a competition!!! I have an entire folder full of screenshots of #1 finishes in DDQ.
That's about the only game mode where I can still see a #1 next to my name, based solely on speed (PvP is only about outside coordination, and PvE requires optimizing your play via some kind of spreadsheet now).

Oh I should mention that I think my prize is better coz I get to play as the Invaders or maybe Alpha Flight (including Wolvie not cheating!) or the Runaways or the SHIELD girls. It is a lot of fun!

I saw some guys roster the other day that looks like it would swat even Bucket...crikey he had about 40 550s...I have seen him on the forums in the past, I even took the mild Mickey out of him without realising he was an MPQ god...

Was he baking a cup cake (or whatever it's termed these days) at the time? Otherwise hard to imagine you being able to queue his roster. If he was, I'm picturing the Samuel L Jackson 'I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance' scene from Pulp Fiction occurring when he saw hit.

Oh no I didn't come across him to fight. I looked at season rankings (I never look at that stuff normally), saw the name and recognised it as the guy I had joked about and so checked out his roster. Then picked my jaw up from the floor, lol!

Because at the roster stage that I'm in the whole DDQ is completely trivial and the only reason to complete is to get the extra resources. For all I care there could be a "claim all" button that skips the whole charade. Matter of fact, you know well that 90+% of people would click it if given the chance. Make DDQ Heroic and then we can talk about different team-ups etc.

Remember I only play the last 2 hours of every event.
Sometimes I accidentally catch a new bracket and I'll get 1st in those if I'm the only one that gets to 1200. Otherwise I get top 10 or something usually. I haven't done a shield hop in probably 2 years now, and the 1000->1200 part of my climb is usually done 5 points at a time, so I don't go past 1200 very much.

I mean...there's hundreds of rosters that'd swat mine. I have 15 550s but they're pretty much all the worst 5*!
And yes, the reward for DDQ placement is indeed a screenshot. But it's the most valuable screenshot in the game!
