Kate Bishop Rebalance?

I notice while getting the update, Kate Bishop is next in line for a character reblance. What's everyones thoughts on this? I personally dont think she needs one, maybe lower the cost of her powers. There's other 4 star characters in this tier need it than she does, i dont think this is going to end well.. hopefully im wrong.

    I agree, there doesn't seem to be a strong reason to rebalance her. It would also be nice if they focused on fixing the bugs from the previous rebalances before worrying about any new rebalances.

    I don’t see any reason either. Unless it’s a simple cost reduction that was an easy win or something she does conflicts with an upcoming power. But, I can only see that being her blue, there’s nothing about her other abilities that others don’t do too and they aren’t being rebalanced.

    I use Kate most days for the 35HP node in DDQ. Firstly because she was my first 370 and secondly because her Black and Blue one-shot most opponents. Not sure she needs too much. Perhaps the Purple? But thematically I like it.

    Was always disappointed that she doesn't have any synergy with Hawkeye. At the very least she needs adjustment for ap cost. 12ap for a single target ability is just unplayable.

    I agree. You rebalance a character not really played , if it's the case, and you give him a good power and another bugged one, then nothing changes, except the resources wasted.
    Fix all the bugged powers, there are already A LOT. That would be a great rebalance instead.
    And perhaps I would pull for Evo then.

    I like Kate. I would have only really looked at her purple to make it stand apart from Hawkeye personally so she was unique for that power.

    The only explanation I can come up with is bcs have become alcohol dependent after their recent mistakes and have decided to hit the bottle.

    Kate's only drawback is that she is slow. Otherwise, she's very solid with good, high-damage abilities. Most 4* need a rebalance more than she does.

    I wish they would just do a poll to see who the players would like a rebalance.

    I'd rather see Talos rebalance over a very useful when boosted Kate

    They'll likely lower the cost of her blue, so we can take advantage of the "No Heal" part of the skill.. heck maybe they'll make it a strong passive instead

    That's really weird. Kate hits like a truck when she's boosted. I'm sure nobody uses her because all her powers are active and Polaris exists, but there's at least 20 other 4* that need a buff more than she does.

    I use Kate daily in Deadpool Daily... But I use her with Mockingbird and America, so I don't actually need to spend the AP to fire her powers. I just let Mockingbird do it for me.

    Without Mockingbird... Kate is too slow to make use of her abilities, even with a battery.

    If they're making her powers cheaper, I'm down. Much like 5* Moon Knight hits hard but costs too much to matter, Kate is just too expensive to be reliable.

    But that's assuming they're making her powers cheaper.

    It's just as likely a wall of text will be added to give her an overly complicated affiliation based passive that'll be even less useful than her AP costs.

    I'm getting cynical, and I don't like that about myself. Anyway, rant complete.

    I play in 5* land, so I never use Kate, but she always kinda struck me as similar to 5* Black Widow. She's a well designed character that's just too slow.

    I've made this comparison numerous times myself: "If you can ever fire off any of her abilities, she hits like a truck. But they all cost too much to use in a normal match." - True about both Kate Bishop and 5-star Widow.

    I'm in 5* land as well, but certain nodes in Deadpool Daily don't allow you to use 5*s.

    Do you not do those? Just curious.

    If you're not using Polaris/Grocket/Juggs for the node - you're wasting time

    That’s actually the node I use to mess around with different 4s. Use teams I haven’t used in years… etc. since placement doesn’t matter you can have fun with that node and the 3* node
