Arcade boss event harder than usual?

It took me longer than usual but that’s possibly because I had animation running
I have always felt the number of points for completing are too high on the event formerly known as civil war
also think that Monday start didn’t help as I believe my alliance would have finished round 8 if it had been at its usual time0 -
Kitty + Polaris made Arcade easy - I never use Polaris so it was actually quite nice to give her a spin. With boosted shields they rarely took above 1 damage. I did lose in one side node though and some of the wave nodes had some pretty chunky levels of health to get through. My Alliance didn't finish so obviously they struggled with one or the other. I am guessing Arcade will be pretty much what we have seen here as a playable character with adjusted numbers - he isn't very exciting although trap users normally hit quite big.0

I hope, though I doubt it, that playable arcade uses different colors than boss arcade does. With all the trap tiles he uses I thought he would be a natural partner to Mr. Sinister, but with arcade having powers in blue, black, and purple and mister sinister having the exact same color scheme that isn't exactly ideal. I was hoping arcade would be yellow, green, red.0

I hope he gives a good enhance to his affiliation partners because a trap user uses to be less effective than other characters.
Probably in a few hours we will have all the data for both versions.0 -
I used my usual BRB Polaris, never failed to kill Arcade at all... although we only reached round 5 or 6 I believe0

It was my impression that they made it 'harder' by going the route of the challenge nodes and putting 4* or 5* Carnage everywhere. Looks like Blob is also an addition to that and I expect to see him in a CN coming soon.

They should add Chasm, Rogue, Doop and others into the mix.0

Event wasn't hard due to 5* roster, but I have to echo the comments that the Arcade fight was... Well, boring.
where was the gimmicks of a boss event? Previous boss events have been great to have something outside of normal gameplay and I was really expecting something game board related, lots of trap tiles or environment hazards, but nope. Just a match up with Arcade who I have no idea what he does other than very minor trap damage if I happened to match it.
