    He was meta king until really recent times. 
    However right now there is a character who can show him the "chasm" between their eras.

    @IceIX - totally not super important, but is it possible to also include the essential 5 for those new 5* events? Maybe in a separate line under the rewards or something. It’s nice to know.

    @IceIX is 5* Ghost Rider supposed to be boosted again?  I know it's close to Halloween but he's been around a lot between PVP feature and another boost week.

    The new update says Meet R&G is the next PVE but it says Strange Sights on the calendar.

    9/25 - cosmic chaos should see onslaught as the 5e. His cover store should be blue.

    So Meet R&G is giving out 3* Emma covers not Hawkeye in lower SCL placement, which presumably means she is the essential for Cosmic Chaos not Hawkeye.

    How exactly, then, are SCL 8+ players expected to handle this? Do we just have to pull normal tokens and hope we land the essential, or is there some other way to get a cover for her before CC starts? (I'm aware you can get a cover from progression fairly early into the event, but that will still throw off your first sub clear)

    If the answer is just tokens, some people are going to get screwed by rng.

    they already said they'll give new 3-star loaners on release day.

    You will get the free required 3* cover at 2500pts at SCL10 and 3500 at SCL8 and 9. Easily achieved by the time people get to the 3* node, though rostering will take valuable time away from playing. If you have the roster spot open prior to the event you will only lose seconds since the game will force you to roster her as soon as you get the rewards.

    If you're like me and don't keep every 1* on roster, having an empty slot will auto-fill with any 1* you end up with you didn't already have on roster. So if you're optimizing for seconds off your clear and maybe weren't thinking of that, be aware. Isn't going to affect me since i only grind for full progression though.

    If you don’t stop to pull you standard tokens you won’t roster a 1*. The 3* from the progression rewards will be the first unrostered character offered.

    See my discussion that covering a 3* from SCL10 will be harder than covering a 4*.  

    Interestingly, Unstable Iso-8 offers 3* Loki in placement rewards, but Meet Rocket & Groot doesn't.  Was this a new change??

    Rocket is a new release event, different rewards, always.

    Ahh - shows how much I pay attention to placement rewards!  Surprised that with a 3* release they don't have 3*s in the normal rewards all the way to SCL10, given that they do in normal events.

    This weekend showed me how right BCS were, despite my own qualms about lack of 3mma in placement. You could favorite her on Thursday. I had a few elites and heroics to pull and by the end of the weekend she was champed.

    So Venom Bomb starting tomorrow and no Sinister 6 Boss event then?  Or both at once?

    It seems like that from the in-game "coming soon PvE event"

    I was just about to come in here and ask the same question since I just saw the sign up for Venom Bomb. I don’t mind if we’re getting another PvE ran concurrent with the Boss Event cuz I’ll take all the rewards I can get but if this is replacing the Boss Event then that’s sad face.
