Hi Everyone –

Here are the R248 Release Notes.

  • Check out the newly rebalanced Wiccan!

  • Gear up for Ghost Rider’s 50th anniversary event with an exclusive comic event and epic login rewards!
  • Remember your green garb as you match gems on St. Patrick’s Day!
  • Challenge yourself in the Villainous Lightning Rounds ending 3/17!

Additional Details:

  • Fixed an issue while using 5* Gambit (Classic) with Stacked Deck where purple and red powers could be fired with 3* Colossus (Classic)’s “Fastball Special”
  • Fixed issues with spelling and grammar in multiple languages

    It's a quote by the Dread Pirate Roberts speaking to Vizzini. 

    Maybe a pirate related character, e.g. another Marauders character?

    Or a poison related character? Perhaps even the symbiote called Poison?

    I googled and got the same thing. It's Iocane Powder, and it's used by Ramsley. He is the main antagonist of Disney's 2003 live-action comedy The Haunted Mansion.

    There's no link to Marvel at all, until I googled Terence Stamp, who portrayed Ramsley. He also portrayed as Stick in Elektra. 

    I digged deeper and it opened up a whole lot of other characters like Chaste, Matt Murdock and Abby Miller.

    I think I'll stop at Stick.  :D

    I have no idea where to go with a Princess Bride quote, but my first thought from Iocane powder went to Io, the moon of Jupiter.  I googled Io & Marvel and Jupiter and Marvel and got these two options:

    I'm not familiar with them at all, but it seems they were a Marvel Future Fight original

    Colonel Jupiter https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Jupiter_Suit
    Could we be getting a Colonel John Jameson?

    That sounds like a description of Pyro. Australian supervillain. So my bets are on him, unless I'm missing any other major Australian characters.

    This month characters are pretty hard to guess.

    The bend - Crystal   :o

    And I think someone in the development team love Ghost Rider. In the past few months, we had

    1) Ghost Rider rebalance
    2) Ghost Rider Costume
    3) Ghost Rider pvp (??)

    And now, we have Ghost Hunters, a new solo event for him.

    Well the iocane powder scene was with the Dread Pirate Roberts and Vizzini. Vizzini was a proud Sicilian. Any marvel Sicilians? Only one I know is……

    Since the quote refers to a poison I googled characters with Poison powers
    Since it's women's month, I'm going with Hazmat (Jennifer Takeda)

    Cary Elwes was also a voice actor in a couple of Hercules movies, so maybe we're getting an Olympian?

    4* Wallace Shawn?  Inconceivable! 

    If we get a 4*Sicilian, you should never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line. 
    But the first Classic blunder is to never get involved in a land war in Asia.

    I recognized the Princess Bride quote but thought the poison reference was the real clue, so I googled “odorless and tasteless poison”. The very first result I got I then googled + marvel, and sure enough there is a marvel character by that name. I’d never heard of them but won’t post here just in case. However, if you want to know, follow the same steps.

    Actually my last name , why my husband called me Contessa before I understood the reason
