So I had 74 tokens saved up and was planning on blowing them when i reached 99 but I needed a few covers to sell to lvl up my Ares. Spent 10 and proceeded like this: 1,1,1,2, loki(purple), 1,1, Cmag(purple), 2, hood(yellow). I guess they really want me to try in the lightning rounds. I am pretty happy that I was able to use all 3 covers and finished mag's purple power (even if he gets a bag on his head soon).

You are joking, right? In the last week from ~25 standard tokens I only got 1* covers. I am either cursed, or God is trying to tell me to stay away from this game. Since I doubt God comes anywhere near this game, I better do something about the curse.

Edit: I checked the 'inventory' covers and I have 1 blue Bag-man and 1 purple Bullseye expiring in 1 day, so the previous statement was false. Make that two 2* covers and ~25 1*. Hurray.

29/175 roughly 17% chance of it being a 2* or greater. 3% chance of it being a 3*. The pattern I have been seeing is multiple 1* covers (say 6 or 7 in a row) then a 2*. Repeat twice or so for a 3*.

It knows. After so many 1* covers they feed you something good.

Last week I used some tokens away and got blue spiderman and red GS widow in a row, so yeah, RNG. Spiderman was nice since I'd had yellow from my 2nd ever token, and then I won a 2nd yellow an hour later, so he's a decent support healer now at level 28.

And good luck you have, I opened strict zero *** from last 175 gray tokens. But today's gold token from ares2 dropped a Thunderclap it figures.

This thread is useful because it allows us to tabulate results and calculate probabilities of pulling rares.

And it is pretty much the only way we can find out if the developers changed these odds in any way without informing us.

From a statistics view point you definitely are not going to get a good estimate this way. Even if you could get a good grasp on the actual percentages doing so would not improve your chances so your argument that this makes the thread "useful" is flawed.

I actually opened a bunch of my saved tokens yesterday hoping to avoid punisher coming into the packs sinc he is maxed. Got my last green widow so I was happy about that. Even fewer 3*** covers left. Probably could have dropped it to almost nobody but patches if I actually participated this lr. Haven't really played the last week much as I wasn't feeling doing lr just to get a bunch of rags in diabolical tokens (just need 1 blk Loki, blk/yellow hood...blk of each is easy to get)or doing the pvp since like many I need first for.it to mean anything.

It's a nice break from the grind lol.

This has bothered me since I started playing this game 3 months ago. If you play through the Prologue you'll mostly likely have a complete set of maxed out * characters. So why on earth are they even considered an "award" in other events? Save me the taps and just give me 100-125iso or let me trade in my standard tokens for heroic or better. Or better yet, let us trade covers with friends. The reward system in this game is either a slap in the face (20 iso, * cover) or a "holy **** I can't believe I got this!" I remember having better luck buying booster packs of heroclix or marvel universe trading cards when I was a kid.

This game treats you like a frat boy treats his girlfriend. Treats you like dirt 99% of the time, so then when you get taken to dinner and a movie you think it's the greatest thing ever.

I've gotten enough *** and useful ** out of them I'd still prefer them to a 100 ISO reward. I don't ever expect anything other than 100 ISO, and, maybe one in ten times, I'm pleasantly surprised.
