Seems like more of a goon specialist. She will be great against anyone who casts a lot (300% match and power damage + 60% damage mitigation is very good given that she can put out a lot of damage at base for 4*). But she will struggle against meta teams where she can't afford to build up her two passives. All three of her red powers could be useful in support. But she could easily end up tanking more than she should be without any DR. I expect a non-meta but useful support character who can also double as a decent main player for anyone transitioning in to 4* land now.(Also, I continue to think that demi's determination to continue stuffing the 4* tier over-full is bad for the game.)0

Looks good as a black battery. With synergies with her purple. Might be fun0

That wasn't listed in the original teaser preview from this morning.0 -
It wasn't there but I think it's a good decision.
I didn't know echo but now I think she could really say that she took a total slap in the face from devs(sorry I couldn't hold down the joke).
Now with that damage reduction she can wait until having the max % increased damage for matching the traps and her playstyle is more interesting.
I think the same, it's a good 4* for 4* players.0 -
Few = between 1 - 5
Moderate = 12Anyway, she can convert 9 basic tiles to black, whereas IF can only convert 7. Therefore, I think winfinite could be very possible with Domino/Echo/MODOK.As for her black passives, it's confusing because her red strike tiles is still pending. However, 300% more power/match damage is great. You need to wait for 3 turns to max it out.She didn't had that power/match damage reduction in her preview. Anyway, her trap tiles are going to do 17,816 damage each. Add on her strike tile created every turn (pending), and it will be more than that. It should be able to one-shot most goon in scl 9 pves.It seems like something is holding the dev up because most of the time, the characters' powers would have been finalised by now. Recently, a few characters still had pending status, like Gamora.0 -
This already changed from yesterday.
I’m liking it less than before. She’s going to be a bench rider for me0 -
Useless as usual to 5* players , as are 98% of all 4*, and I like Blob a lot better as a damage reducer plus his increase is unlimited . I don’t think I’ve ever taken net damage or used a health pack with Blob on team . Not going to replace Morbius or even Mantis against goons .0

Odd that they gave us Echo as Task Master in the MCU Black Widow movie (similar concept) and now bring her in within the Hawkeye series (which makes sense since she was Ronin. D3 consider an alt costume).

I mean that she cannot reliably keep her DR up. Sometimes you don't get match4, and sometimes the trap(s) won't stay on the board. Some matches she will have it up at basically all times. Other matches she will struggle to get it up at all. But the DR mechanism is not linked to her match damage boost, so she may often be tanking (with 4* teams at least) because of boosted match damage without having any damage mitigation.

Plus you have to run at least 1 of her powers at 3 (or 2 at 4) so if you run the Purple/Black at 5 covers then the Red (her only active and reliable damage power) will be super weak no matter which you choose. If you run the Red at 5 then one of her passives will have to be run at 3 which will make either DR or boosted damage very weak.KGB

Unless she gets a big rebalance this is looking like one of the worse 4* in a long time lol. 60% mitigation if you match 4 and the tile doesn't get matched, AND she still has **** HP?
I guess I can see her doing well vs goons, but I prefer my lazy carnage 5* and morbius team for that. Might take a while depending on the 3rd slot but it's 0 risk0 -
I'm not sure what's wrong with her. She looks like a perfect winfinite. Recommended build is 5/5/3 until I get to test her out. Her crit multiplier is 4x, the third highest crit multiplier in the game.
If you are concern about match-4, switch it to Bullseye's ability.
Pair her with Shuri and Heimdall for infinite stun and infinite red aps.0 -
Heimdall is a good partner to peak at where her trap tiles are. You would need another partner to try and force match4s though.

I look one up if I see someone say 'try Wiccan with the new five star because xyz'
Give the new players a chance, reduce iso to champ a 4* by half.3 -

Echo's Black and Purple Passive powers have been updated with their final numbers.2

She didn't look all that great in the first place and now they lowered her numbers lol.0

I would will say 5,3,5 especially since I use boosted 5* characters the most in PVE and PVP. Billy Club would be my choice of red for the consistent stun and return of AP.
black for players in 4* lane could be great against goons and terrible in PVP.
Putple could be really good or bad with trap tiles. Taking 60% less damage is good for the damage it can be matched or destroyed by the player. Using with a SC or with Onslaught could be fun.
still just a 4* though0
