    Do we really expect the Fan Favorites to change that much in a few months? Did we NEED a second poll? 
    Yes,  I do think that it would have changed quite a bit.  In those few months more people have realized that collosus is much, much better than he seemed at first and how good Wanda is, or that brb is arguably a better 5 star than kitty as a first 5 star for four star players transitioning to five star play.  We also probably had many players pull for the apocalypse,  kitty, dp store and get the covers they wanted for those characters.

    If the fan favorite store ends up being what I've heard it will be,  no big deal I'll just keep hoarding for a better store,  but anniversary store is something that has traditionally been voted on and many players look forward to voting in.  Seems odd to change it for no apparent reason.

For that matter, what part of not having a poll means we're going to get the same Fan Favorite trio twice? There are 60 5-stars in the game, seems like we could come up with more than one trio of characters from a single popularity poll.

    I can get why people aren't happy, but sometimes it feels like people are fishing for reasons to be disappointed. (and by "sometimes" I mean "always", because that's how the MPQ forums just seem to be)
    So let's hope none of the Summer Fan Faves trio show up in the Anniversary iteration otherwise it's such a wasted opportunity to help us with 5* dilution. Unfortunately, I'm very leary that this will be the case and instead we will get stuck continuing to hoard longer for the dangled carrots we want that we can never quite reach.
    Frankly I'm sick of the same old 5-6 "favorites" of Okoye, Apoc, Kitty, Deadpool, and Strange. I get that "you can never have a big enough Okoye or Apoc", but surely they can shake things up a little.

    I think there's a difference in expectations. I don't see any chance that we would have gotten Wanda or Colossus this close to their releases. A new poll wouldn't change that, because the devs were never going to include them regardless of what the players wanted. They just wouldn't have been on the table to begin with. So if they had polled people again for Anniversary, it would have been a waste of effort, because nothing that would change from the player perspective of the last couple months would actually influence what the devs were willing to do for a FF trio.

    In other words, I feel like a lot of the disappointment in the lack of a new FF poll comes from the mistaken assumption that such a poll would have changed the course of the game for this Anniversary. It's certainly not the most positive position, but I think it's realistic based on past MPQ experiences.

    Well, to be fair, I think many people play this game for the art and the collection value and not really so very much for the competitive value. To someone in that camp (a someone I am not, by the way), I could see this being more than semantic. The art is so good here that a broken "promise" of something truly new could lead to sadness and disappointment for some. It's not me, but I'm sympathetic.

    Multiple stores would be nice. I'd prefer a hand full of stores with a single popular 5* in them so I could get who I want the most. I'm tired of these three-person stores where I usually get the most of the one character I could care less about. Come on devs, think outside the box.

    In a sense they already do this , either to buy it in an offer , or if you prefer to wait , win it in the rotating PvP rewards. I don’t want them just handing things to us without challenge nor RNG. If that happens then 95% of us use the same team .

    I think that the current survey is a somewhat flawed way to choose which characters go into a store. The reality also is that anyone not in 5-star land isn't really going to have a clue about which 5-stars would benefit them the most.   If you ask my wife who her favorite 5-stars are, she'll tell you Dr. Strange, OML, and Hela, because those are the only three 5-stars she has with enough covers and levels to use regularly. At the very least, the question should be reworded to "What 5-stars would you like to add to your roster?".   In any case, multiple stores would be a boon for being able champ older 5-stars, or to add covers for champed 5-stars.  Waiting to see what shows up on Thursday.

    Someone could, but then they'd probably change the fan favorite store to Rescue, Mags and Wasp.

    I popped by MPQ facebook and they have this contest asking when players started playing the game. They are giving 400 shards of your favourite character to 5 lucky winners. I don't see any tier restriction so I suppose the lucky ones would probably choose 400 5* shards.  I see a lot of long time-players posting there. If you are feeling lucky, you might want to post there too.

    I'm not sure that this would be for the greater good. I, as well as many others, pull from Classic specifically because of the 20cp cost. I know not everyone uses it, but there is a valid, useful strategy for pulling from Classic. Increasing the cost for the sake of having a better chance at a has been 5* won't be worth it for many of us. A whole new store doing it's own thing would be better, but I say leave Classic alone for now.
    I agree with you regarding the lower cost to the current classics store, so my proposal was for a separate "featured" classic store to run alongside the existing one to provide a targeted alternative to classics. We still need access to all the classics, but I just wanted to see something that provided a more refined approach.  Thinking about it later, the monthly cycle is still perhaps too long as you'd only see 36 classics featured per year meaning the cycle through the whole pool is longer than really useful.  Maybe a 5-day cycle like with the sweet/savory vaults but not a vault otherwise you're just limited to getting a single cover per cycle and that doesn't help either. 

    I hadn't advocated the cost increase, and would prefer that there wasn't of course, but can understand the additional suggestion about an increased cost on this extra store as nothing in life comes free.  ;)
