Deadliest Woman still activates Insta-Kill so they still haven’t addressed that loophole.

Deadliest Woman, IMO , does 0 damage. It changes status from "alive" to "downed".
Its should not be able in PG but still...

I would be shocked (SHOCKED!!!) if they do. Puzzle gauntlets are such a small part of the game and no extra rewards for speed or cheese. They did add Spid3r-man to at least one node.  I like to tell myself that is their deadliest woman nerf.

For some reason on this one I was underwhelmed, but I think that's because i had it in my heart going in that I was going to use it to see how much damage I could do with Ronan/To4ch with a board full of repeaters in a relatively low-stakes environment like we typicaly get in PG, and then it was a completely different setup lol. I cleared the two solo nodes, got a pair of 3* Wongs, and now i'm looking at the rest of these nodes wonderin ghow badly I need that red iso (not at all). Maybe I'll get into a better headspace for it a few days in.

I enjoyed it. Have cleared each level once, will try for the red iso later if i feel up to it and have time. The Carnage level was very close for me. He hit me once, one more and I would have lost it. But I carefully board managed after getting hit, and with a little bit of luck, won that one. It was a nice change of pace to previous PGs, while still being at least a bit of a challenge.
I specifically enjoyed not having to drain health packs on this one, as previous PGs have hurt me badly for not having the "right" characters at a high enough level. Would love to see something like this again.

I appreciate the new mechanic but at the same time, not a fan of the new mechanic.

I just ended up playing the stun-lock game to keep the tiles from swapping.

Oh boy, I just completed the final node on the upper path. That was EXCRUCIATING. So the tug of war in this one switches sides when a side's countdown tile expires. Enemy team is 5* Deadpool / 5* Hawkeye / Coulson.

After much failure with some random heroes I decided to go with Polaris + Medusa + Knull. I tried my best to fill the whole board with attack/strike/protect tiles, but that took roughly a whole hour. The AI was spamming skills left right and centre all the while. Abyssal Blades in particular was the biggest hassle imho. I still decided to kill Coulson first, however.

I have no idea if that was the best way to solve this node, probably not, seeing as how it took me like 2 hours of playing, but I simply couldn't figure a better way.

The worst thing however was after I finally got that basic support ticket. I got a 1* Web Shooter (I had the 2* version long ago). Imagine playing a match for 2 hours just to get THAT.

I cheesed it with Polaris R4G and Gamora and just chased the tug of war tiles.

But the only countdown tile you'd have with that team would be Grocket's green.

I fought fire with fire and stun locked them in a few moves with HE/Coulson/Gammera

Ya That one was a ****. Mantis came in really handy. cause she makes 1 countdown tiles that can stun for 4 turns so that helped me win it.

Gamora downs enemies if all purple are friendly special tiles.

Ouch. I went for Knull (countdowns from a passive power and his purple active), Captain Marvel (black puts down a countdown, yellow takes a countdown to 0) and Dr. Strange (blue both adds a countdown of his own and helps you stop the enemies' countdowns). Went a lot quicker.

Loved it all apart from the blasted countdown one!

Like most of the PG, I enjoyed the first 3-4, then it got annoying, then it got REALLY annoying.  Oddly enough, the solo fights were the easiest this time for me because even my champed hulk would get one shot, so my char levels didn't matter.  It was all a matter of luck.

Although, I don't know who chooses the required characters, but picking hulk in a PG where NONE of his powers can work, kind of blows.

Oh, I thought this was the 3* version of Gamora. For the double stun. I see now.

I thought there should be a better way to do that node... well not one I could have used anyways as I don't have G4mora now.

I haven’t done the countdown node yet, but expect that W4sp, Falcon, and probably Mantis or Hulk would do well in it. Or maybe Wasp, Vulture, Mantis would be better.

Sorry I wasn't clear i should have said G4mora. I would guess as others have mentioned mantis would be a good take here.

I won the countdown one easily with 3* Loki, IM40 and Gamora. You have 2 characters to create countdowns and Gamora to stun. I had the enemy team stun locked after 1 IM40 yellow resolved.
I would let 1 enemy wake up from stun long enough to make a match 4 then it was stun time again.

Well if G4mora instakills the target AI with Deadliest Woman, it wouldn't matter if you had the enemy team permastunned or not, only that you could make all purple tiles specials and keeping her alive of course.

Funny I had her rostered a couple days ago for the PvE event "Thick as thieves". Then I sold her to make room for Lokigator. I had no idea she'd be useful for this Gauntlet
