 Welp. I'm out of luck then. With only 1 blue Magik cover looks like I won't be able to pull it in a million years

I have Daken for a 5 blue AP skill, but even that won't get it, since I can store up to 30 blue AP that'll give me 6 casts at most. 6 casts = 6 fortified tiles.
I could probably get a few more with either Star Lord or Beast but that'd be it.

What's your roster like? It's difficult to advise you. Ask your ally for teamups that give fortification.

Supports should be upgradable with repeated covers or Red iso and never be used in pvp. A very democratic solution.

I went in with a rank 4 Carol's Communicator, and naturally got two rank 4 duplicates of it. Hoping that they change Supports soon so I can actually upgrade my supports with something like shards.

I got more 3's than 4's, but also went in with a Rank 4, so I was basically thinking the same thing. They've done a lot with the game recently. There was a time last year when they'd basically hit every major thing on the "MPQ wishlist". Except for Supports. That's the one area that needs some work. It's still too hard to acquire tokens and increase Support rank, with dupes feeling too much like a waste since they only give Red ISO, Infinity Stones are still weirdly locked out to a super tiny percentage of the playerbase, and the game could basically use several more handfuls of generic Supports (groups like the first one, or the Black Order group, or  set from Wakanda, and less like the "companion" Supports that were released alongside new characters specifically to buff the new character).

How did you all beat Bishop and BRB? I went with Starlord and hoarded purple (pink), but before BRB could put enough protect tiles up, Bishop converted them to blue basic tiles. I gave up after 15 minutes when Starlord was at a few thousand health with almost no protect tiles on the board to steal.

If you have 4* Black Panther, his Blue creates 4 fortified protects. If you save 30 Blue and wait till you have a Blue match you can cast 3 times, match Blue and cast again next turn which gives you 16 protects . His Yellow repeater can create some more.

This was one of the easier ones to finish if you had Black Panther.

went in with a 1* Comunictor got away with 3 and a 5 so yay i think. Almost never look at supports so now have to remember this one and actively equip it.

I used Star Lord as well but had him equipped with 3* Avengers Tower. That allows to create an extra protect tile after a 4-match and also it has a chance to fortify already created protect tiles after matching yellows.

Chase purple and yellow tiles. Purple to steal the protects that BRB creates and yellow to prevent Bishop from stealing your protects and to eventually heal yourself.
Have Bishop as the punching bag so hopefully he'll die first and stop stealing your protects.

there's enough going on in this game, i don't need to waste my time on this for the meagre rewards. maybe if the support was worth going after. but for the most part this event is going on the 'not gonna bother' pile with lightning rounds.
