Warlock/Switch have always been a really good duo. And wanda is almost a natural anti-Warlock/Carbage.This is gonna be easy.0

AW is like the more aggressive version of Colossus, with true healing to boot. I hope there will be a store in the future with both AW and Heimdall in it. Feeders are not going to help me a lot.0

Huh, boosted Hulk. Pleasant surprise0

What teams are you using?0

How do you know what other players attack you with if they lose?1

I'm sorry I should have clarified. I have that team as defense; I'm not sure what everyone is attacking me with.
I can see how I could have worded that better.3 -

I love this week. Pvp foes cannot stand AW's serious beating, plus I'm not wasting health packs thanks to his true healing, if allies passives let him the chance to heal.
And pve is passing like if I was pressing the fast forward button.
Today in the 4* node I killed all 3 on the first turn.0 -
It is a very fortunate event that AW wasn't that popular. The release of Colossus might have affected him as well. From my climb 0 to 1000 I don't see a lot of AW/Carbage. I saw only 1 Havok and 1 Bruce Banner Hulk during my climb to 1200. However, past 1000, AW/Carbage was crowding the higher point nodes. They aren't as scary as I thought but I used 3-4 healthpacks every 2 fights with them. I didn't use as many healthpacks as I expected. I used only 17 healthpacks, which wasn't as crazy as Wanda's boost week.

that’s that’s interesting; AW/Carbage is mostly what I saw, very few variations featuring Havok or Banner. I couldn’t really figure out Warlock too well even still, but I rode my max-champ Chavez to 1200 with him and banked on match damage boost. A black match 3 with a crit was doing like 30k damage.0

I saw these teams along the way:
Colossus/Wanda
Wanda/Apocalypse
Kitty/Carbage
Carbage/Polaris
Carbage/Wanda
Past 1000, it's mostly Carbage/AW.

I hadn't used Adam before this at all but he's great! I ran him and Carnage all the way. Did people skip him? I didn't see very many.
He's not that hard to figure out...match black and get his passive up and running quick, then go for yellow/purple. Fire purple when you get enough, hold yellow till his health is low. He needs health packs every few fights but it's worth it because he's just SO fast. The match damage boost plus the passive is insanity.
I did see a few people running SW/Colossus. I had trouble with them until I changed the team order. You need to put Adam on the left so his passive fires before Carnage does his thing. Adam's passive will go first and hit one guy for 20k every turn. Once I swapped them around the fights were very quick and easy.
Enemy teams were a few mirror matches but not that many. Mostly I saw Carnage + some unboosted partner.0 -
In this gator Loki event I’m riding Warlock/Thano5. Chase black, kill Loki through his invis, grind whoever has the next lowest health while stunned, get some points. Boosted warlock is much better for doing this sustainably than iHulk.0

Reading his release thread (I hadn't come back to the forum yet), it seems like Adam was simply a victim of the Okoye/Hulk meta. Unlike Adam, Hulk's AoE doesn't require the player to match tiles, or do... anything, really. Adam doesn't work with Okoye because he tanks her colors. So there was no place for him at all.
He's a well-designed, fun, powerful character who was completely overlooked because he wasn't as good as the best 2.
Isn't it nice that we've been freed from the tyranny of the best 2? Boosted 5* are the best thing to ever happen to the 5* tier.4 -

Don't use Adam/okoye/ihulk with black AP boosts in PVE...*the* slowest PVE team ever!!!0 -

Boosted Carbage mirrors are so obnoxious. Maybe not as obnoxious as boosted Scarlet Witch mirrors, but it's still pretty bad.0

Generally speaking, self-harmed characters are frowned upon. There are a few exceptions like Thanos and iHulk.
Between Colossus and AW, most went with Colossus instead. For AW, you need to make sure he's constantly in tip-top condition to maximise his black passive. So, there's a lot of micromanaging needed for him. Even if AW is compared to iHulk, he doesn't need constant micromanaging. You just need to make sure Okoye is x level higher than him.
Still, I like AW, but too bad I was not at a point where can I can fully cover him. I think if Colossus appeared later, more might have pulled for AW because of the match damage increase.
Havok is sad but he's pretty good if you can find a perfect combo that plays around his ap switching and charged tiles.
