    Definitely go for maxing OBW and Ares, those two will get you a LONG ways through your 2* transition. I would suggest even holding some ISO for when you get the next cover for them over putting it into C.Storm or A.Wolv. I used C.Storm a bunch, although mine only made it to the high 50s, and she pairs very well with MMN, but was pretty much over her after the early part of the 1* -> 2* so she might be a waste for you now. You are on the right track in tanking your PVP placement to the covers you need, even though it might hurt you a bit in the future as it is easier to get the 3*s now than it ever will be again.

    I made a post complaining about how hard it is to get any cover outside of the reward rotations and used my Hulk as an example, as he was sitting at 4/0/3 for a month. Yesterday I get a Hulk Black cover from the Fresh Cut token. Today I get another Hulk Black cover from a standard token.

    I think there's a dev who reads the forums just to contradict people. Complaining about death brackets? Here's an easy one. Tokens being awful lately? Here, take a couple 3*.

    I clearly need to complain more loudly about progression tokens' utter refusal to give me any 3*s.

    Haha, OK OK, so ate some crow. If I were not a conspiracy theorist, I would say someone over at D3 is reading these forums.

    I mean literally, I went on the biggest cold streak you can imagine and then after making a fool of myself here, the 2* started dropping like pigeon droppings from the sky. It was amazing.
    That being said, I since then returned to my cold stretch - but I got enough covers to allow me to move past my 1* team. So the game got far more exciting to me.

    I am sure that in a month I will be back yelling about how unfair it is that I cannot get 3* covers and that I have 50 useless 2* covers. Bla bla.

    It's one of the few times RNGesus has been acting on my behalf - out of the last dozen or so event tokens I've pulled six 3*s icon_e_biggrin.gif

    My two cents:

    The only money I have spent in this game is to buy roster slots. I suppose with a few leftover HP here and there combined with what I've won, I've purchased a small handful of tokens. I have not spent a single penny on ISO or to level up specific covers. So while I'm technically not doing the F2P thing, I'm grinding away and am relatively satisfied with the progress I've made over the last 5 or so months.

    You have to provide roster details so there is context to your post. Although I guess it doesn't matter in PvP where the state of the game is P2W
