and i quit.

I am tired of uphill battles against people with a ton more levels than me.

im tired of random server downs when its my prime play time with no compensation (is it a steam issue?)

im tired of steam getting **** over in 15 different ways.

Im tired of not getting the option on sales because you refuse to offer discounts to people who have already paid full price. (been waiting 4 months for a sale, at the same time noticing sales being offered to other people)

Im tired of 100% of the time when i hit 800 points in pvp getting slammed for 100+, getting back to 800 then immediately being slammed.

im tire dof loosing points AFTER i shield

im tired of the 5 minute shield grace apparently being gone.

im tired of your MMR being shittier and shittier.

Im tired of my Iso flow getting smaller and smaller

im tired of my hp flow getting smaller... and smaller

im tired of apparently being the only player without max 141s, seriously i don't get to fight anything but 141s with an obw somewhere in there.

im tired of PvE events starting at level 150+

my highest character is 105... i just cant compete with the brackets im put in.

im tired of feet dragging on balance issues (its been near 6 months since i was told X characters are getting changed, and only 1 has... and that character was completely **** ruined.

im tired of half my alliance quitting in frustration every week and having to refill the slots.

im tired of waiting for ungiven rewards to be given to me.

im tired of having to be part of an alliance or loosing 1/3 of my progression.

its time to talk with my wallet and my time... and D3.. you get no more of either.
so.. thanks.. and keep your rotting fish for yourself.

  • Next time try something like:

    I'm tired of:
    Point a
    Point b
    Point c

That way you don't have to type "I'm tired of" 30 times.
    Have a nice day. Bye.

If you're so tired, you should try a nap.

    I love me some naps!

At least they didn't scale to 400!
  • At this point I can't even be mad at d3p anymore, it's like getting mad at a dog that's too dumb to get housetrained

I'm MAD at the people who keep spending money on this game icon_mad.gif

Which just proves how far you've gone off the rails.

You're saying that you hate this game so much that you want everyone at Demiurge to lose their jobs.

    That's just insane.

You... do know that demiurge has made (and will make) more than this one game, right?

You do know that for a small studio, one significant failure is often enough to make it fold, right?

    Lower income means changes.

Changes might mean good changes. Good for players.
  • Emeryt is the only character I like better in this game since nerfing.

If they go out of business because they're really depending on this game yet they can't be bothered to fix its bugs, stop screwing their players, or have decent customer service, well... that's capitalism

(of course, if they keep raking in the bucks while transforming the game into something I hate, that's capitalism too icon_e_confused.gif )

On the flip side you're saying incompetence should be rewarded? Or at the very least ignored? Until the service that a company provides is up to standard I feel it is only right that payment for those services should be withheld. If a garage did work on your car that was of substandard quality would you happily pay them and continue to go to them, all the while telling others they should use the same garage?

No, I'm saying that the rational, mature way to handle things is to realize that not everyone sees the same way. If you're unhappy with the work a garage does for you, then you shouldn't patronize them anymore. If their conduct was really bad, you might put in a complaint against them. But what people here are advocating is the equivalent of saying that you should form a picket line and harass anyone doing business with the garage.

That's extreme. Especially over some changes in a game.

I tend to agree, but as I understand it, some people have spent like $1000 on this game. If I spent even $30, I'd be the most annoying person they ever met! I think even spending just $30 on this game would be a legitimate reason to gripe hard (game changes + server issues + customer service issues). Console/PC games range up to $70. Most even one time payment, but extremely and exponentially more complex.

I play Diablo 3 and that game has had no server issues or crashes with me in so long (in fact, I can only recall it lagging so bad once when it first came out that my hard core character died). MPQ crashes a few times a week and servers go down for unreasonable amounts of time (THIRTY-SIX HOURS?!?!) without any love from D3.

It's like when my parents would take the SNES away from me and not tell me why they did it, except I'm pretty sure I didn't break anything here. icon_e_wink.gif

Seem so -- tongue deep in their bottom and would want everyone keep paying and supporting whatever **** they think up for the day. And whatever attitude allowed to treat their customers too.

Why exempt them from responsibility for the actions? Should they fold, it's for the better -- someone may learn and at least next time do BETTER for a change, like do the most trivial thing like use the devoted part of playerbase for feedback that is processed and acted on.

At the least they should learn that they can't allow anything without consequences, even the most addicted clients have a limit and they are putting masses to test it recently. Hoping the pyramid-schema to work out and make up revenue from fresh meat. But I'm sure you can't strip-mine forever.

The sooner the guy responsible for the direction is ejected the more chance the game gets on a good track.

It's not extreme at all, and I would actually organize a picket line in front of Demiurge's offices if I could. Alas, I live a few thousand kilometers away icon_e_smile.gif
The garage analogy doesn't work for a very simple reason - Demiurge deals in addiction, not in utility. MPQ is way closer to a drug than to a car.
Also, where would you put a complaint against Demiurge's business tactics? Is there such a thing as a gamer protection authority? There isn't, as far as I know, and your "rational, mature" approach is just void of any substance.

Strange list, it has Mass effect. On steam the info is:

    Title: Mass Effect
    Genre: Action, RPG
    Developer: BioWare
    Publisher: Electronic Arts

    no mention of demiurge.
  • They ported it to PC.

Sadly, I completely agree with this.

There must be some serious propaganda being spread there. Why else would anyone believe it's "working as intended?" They probably made it clear that forumites have some kind of personality disorders and should not be taken seriously. They probably have a thermometer of revenue goals displayed so everyone can remember what the bottom line is - maybe even bonuses given out too so everyone keeps the blinders on so long as it's filling up. It's all speculation and half jokes of course, but there has to be some serious egos over there that is causing them from even saying we're sorry.

If I worked at a company who's CS treated it's customers the way they do, or simply brushed off issues and provided no recompense, I'd quit. I don't know what the exact relationship is between D3 and Demiurge, but one or both of these guys is starting have their reputation stained.
