Can not login from facebook [Fixed]

I can’t login to the game. Keeps saying cannot connect to Facebook. I can connect to Facebook and browse other apps so I know my phone is an internet connection.

    Hi, Marcela.

    I'm with a similar problem. After this update I can't open the game anymore.
    But I don't use FB to get into the game. I open it directly in my device. It's a Samsung Galaxy A9 with Android fully updated.

    I can't even open my UID in the APP. I can only find ot in previous emails when I got similar issues...

    Having the same issue. Unable to connect to Facebook. Your password has changed or the application is not authorized on this account. Press cancel and login again. Press cancel and round and round the merry go round goes.

    I cannot login either with Facebook error.Should I file a ticket for all of the resources that I normally get everyday from playing all the events?

    Just happened to me as well.  Got kicked from game, and can no longer log in.  Says "Unable to Connect to Facebook" even though I can go to Facebook and browse around.  This is happening on both my iPad and iPhone, so not a device issue.

    But ill post here as well today 15/5 and will keep posting so when I get the arguement from CS about not being able to award things that I could have earnt I can at least reference this post.

    i would suggest others do the same to try to ensure we have some sort of comeback should this take a while to fix.

    Please be aware that this is not a problem only for FB users! I open the APP directly and I'm facing the same issue!

    Yesterday after many tries I got into the game. But today I already tried more than 200 times and only get an ERROR message. Unable to log in!

    I crashed out right in the middle of playing, and was prompted to log in via Facebook. When I tried, I got the error shown above. (and the 4000 times I hit retry.) I was able to play update 4.2 fine until that point (Thursday evening). It affects both my iPad and iPhone, which are linked by FB. Deleting and reinstalling all relevant apps, changing FB password, removing Magic: PQ from Facebook's connect apps, etc., does not fix the issue.

    I AM able to start playing as a new player, so whatever it is is tied to something my normal account did during normal play. I was using Ikoria cards when playing, so I imagine something triggered the error.

    I've had this bug also since mid-week where I can't login via Facebook Connect.  I recently got an email back from "support" and their "solution" was to start a new account? I understand that they say they can transfer the details from my old account, but does that mean I lose my established account username, coalition standing, etc.  And, they said I have to take the tutorial again?  I assume if I were to do this that I would not use Facebook Connect again, since they don't seem to know how to fix the bugs related to it?  This seems like a terrible solution, as in we don't know how to fix the bugs, so just start over?  

    Is anyone else being asked to start a new account?

    Is there a way to get a full refund on money spent on this game if my account can't be restored? I'm losing patience at this point.

    I’ve done that already at their request and am waiting for my account to be transferred over. That was about 8 hours ago........

    I deleted my account from face book as requested by support. it didn’t work. So you are correct. I am still waiting for a solution.

    I’ve left it a while today before posting

    .checking in 16/5 to log that I would have been on the game for reference of missed daily rewards.

    Customer support is asking you to do something totally different than what the in game FAQ regarding this issue is telling you to do. Customer support told me to remove the app link with Facebook. 
    The FAQ on the in game link tells you not to do that and to provide them with the UID from Facebook. I followed what support asked me to do. Hopefully my account isn’t gone forever because of the gross discrepancy. Please figure out which one is the correct solution so our community doesn’t lose their accounts permanently.

    They have got me back up and running now- I hope they get everyone else going as soon as possible too.

    @Gideon can you still see the app on the expired section on the FB site?

    Customer service told me to delete the link in Facebook.@Avahad What do you mean?

    My FB still shows the app has ‘expired’ but I got my FB user ID off it.
    @Gideon maybe it will show there- there is also a section for removed

    I have the same issue now, have messaged support in the app lets see how long it takes to get this sorted out
