Will they still be able to update the app and see the cards in English?   Or does this mean the client will be gone for them altogether? Both suck, but want to know the severity of impact.

    I can answer this.

They'll see the cards, and any other translated strings in-app, in whatever language is chosen by Oktagon to supply text in for that language. Currently, that is English.

    Hello guys,

We apologize for the lack of communication in relation to the supported languages. Magic: Puzzle Quest does not support the following languages anymore:
    • Chinese
    • Korean
    • Italian
    • Russian
We are truly sorry about not having posted anything in the Release Notes about that fact beforehand.
We are looking forward to the upcoming releases with new features and the next collections which will be fully supported in the following languages:
    • English
    • French
    • German
    • Spanish
    • Japanese
    • Brazilian Portuguese
I presume this means that my team mates to whom this game is now unplayable will be receiving a full refund of all Money spent on the game ?

Dropping languages from the app is huge slap in the face that needs to be fixed asap.

The players that use those languages deserve so much better treatment.

    But...why?

I mean, all these cards exist in these languages in paper mtg.

Oktagon has openly stated its desire to make future mtgpq more aligned with paper mtg cards.

It's literally almost a copy and paste scenario.

I'm sorry @Oktagon_Support that the higher-ups are throwing you to the wolves on these changes.

    This is marketing-suicide.

I am sincerely beginning to believe the word communication is not in Oktagon's dictionary.

Not in their Chinese, Korean, Italian or Russian dictionaries, that's for sure.

I'm actually kinda surprised that Chinese isn't supported considering the size of the market. Of all the languages to not support that one throws me for a loop.

Unfortunately our game is only available in English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish now.

Also, really surprised Portuguese isn't on that list, considering Oktagon is based in Brazil.

Come on, this is funny right? Clearly it's a joke. Well played.

On topic: Bad decision guys. We should be welcoming players, not shutting them out.

Yeah, I did a double take on that one too.  Hopefully it was just a typo in the first announcement and not an "oh ****, he's right" moment after.

And yeah, its a really nasty thing to do, especially with no notice.  I've never seen a game drop languages before, only add.  Very odd.

I would have thought that after implementing VIP, Oktagon would have more resources to work with, so we'd get more features, or less bugs.

Perhaps D3Go ate all the profit.

It's D3Go alright, with emphasis on the go.
