Why are only certain X-Men listed? I expected to see Professor X and possibly Kitty. Kitty would take Apocalypse’s lunch money so I can understand why she is not featured but no Charles?

As long as XPool is boosted that's all that matters to me.Carol/Xpool/C&D easily get me all the way through round 8 with no health packs needed thanks to XPool's self heal. C&D spam black which Apoc matches which generates Red from Carols passive which removes one of his horsemen and allows XPool to heal all the damage he absorbs from Apoc when he uses that Red. All that extra Black also helps match his count downs as his Horsemen disappear. Carol uses the Black/Yellow to 1 shot Apoc (with help from XPool's Red in rounds 7/8). You can use C&D yellow as well to remove Apocs specials in later levels when 1 shotting gets harder and you need to get rid of the 4 horsemen.It's pretty foolproof to use.KGB5

Carol: 5/3/5XPool: 5/X/XC&D: 5/4/4For Carol, you want as much Red generated every time Apoc matches Black. And you want him matching Black because he can't use it since it's a passive for him.For XPool, you need his Red maxed for the damage and health restored. I don't use his Purple at all so you can put his other 2 colors however you want.For C&D, I like the Yellow at 5 so it removes 5 of his attack tiles which helps in round 8 when they hit hard. Also if C&D take damage (via when you match yellow and they go to the front) you can transform and heal here too. I want Black at 4 so you get 3 black tiles a turn created to temp Apoc and get cascades of your own. There is no need for Black at 5 because attack tile damage doesn't count toward his damage horseman.Your primary goal is to always match Red to deny him his only active power plus it helps remove his AP drain faster. Then Match Yellow for C&D / Carol. Then Purple and lastly Black. Occasionally you are forced into Green/Blue if none of the other 4 are available or you want to remove 2+ of his attack tiles. I don't start matching Black actively till his AP drain horseman is gone or I need to remove a count down tile of his because you normally get Black from C&D's tile creation.I often allow him to live a turn or two after I could 1-shot him via Carols black just to get extra Red for XPool to heal and finish him off that way. Its not uncommon to reach 26+ Red for double firing of the power in rounds 7/8 with all the Black C&D makes for him.KGBP.S. It's also a good excuse to dust off your Chimichanga support and put it on XPool for the 1 turn heal CD possibility each turn (33% at L150).8

I just switched to using Kitty, Switch and Nightcrawler. So much fun. But even if your Kitty sucks you could go with Jean instead. Just make sure your Switch is set to 3/5/5 since you'll need Nightcrawler's purple. Collect green, red and purple until purple is the dominant color on the board, flood the board with purple until victorious.2
