I fought Cap because he's easier to beat, honestly.
IM is more difficult than Cap. Easy kill, same reward.

5* Iron Man Party Protocols (or whatever it is called) is one of the most annoying powers in the game so I avoided that and picked on Cap. Sorry Cap.

True house party protocol is the reason that IM is more difficult. Versus Cap I have used my Gritty team with Gamora.

Juggs/Grocket/Gamora and you win on turn 3 or less against either one (in CL7). I suppose it might be turn 4 or 5 in CL8/9.

Either way Juggs passive means he's doing constant damage regardless of whether Cap or IM live long enough to summon allies / get house party protocol.

I didn't see the other node too. I could have slow down and see the background. Then, I would have seen Iron Man on the other side.

Lvl 500 Cap has 89991 health. I'm guessing that takes more than 5 turns.
Yeah he does about 8k a turn on a single match. So he'd need a couple cascades to finish on turn 5 if the strikes dont get matched.

I had no problem dusting IM using:

    5/5/3 Spider-Man 2099
    3/5/5 Spider-Gwen
    5/5/3 Miles Morales

Lots of web tiles which generate Purple, Red and Blue AP. 2099's Blue adds a 75% damage boost, and Gwen's Red already hits for 21,892 damage, making it a 21,892 x 1.75 = 38,311 damage nuke for 6 Red AP. And if two of those didn't finish him off, Miles' purple did. Couple that with healing for every destroyed web tile and the team never broke a sweat.

I had no idea until after I picked that I had a choice though.  I just wanted to hit the node ASAP since I was behind in my clears.

Didn't even see the IM node until I was locked in.

I'm among those who never saw the option to switch, so I just fought Cap and assumed that was all there was to it.

It's easier for me to take on Iron Man then it is Team Cap, primarily because if you know how the meat shields work, with a boosted Riri, it isn't hard to do damage to Stark, as long as you weren't primarily targeting him.

I only saw you could choose after I fought Cap. Didn’t regret fighting Cap though.

Boss Cap is faster to defeat than Boss IM.  That's the only reason.

IM's node was hidden in his Arc Reactor. Did not see it.
While Cap is easier, from a thematic standpoint, I prefer the "spirit of the law" over the "letter of the law."
So, I would have chosen to fight IM, if I'd seen it.
