A total lack of communication

This is getting a bit ridiculous and it is affecting the game comprehensively. Ever major coalition is bleeding players. Every player is complaining. You haven't done a Q&A in forever. You have not communicated plans for 3.8/M20 or any timeline for what you're plotting. Just a little bit would go a long way. You're making us nervous that this is the death throes of this game like when you shut down Adventure Time Puzzle Quest.

If you wan an engaged, happy, growing player base just talk to us. Do something. Please, for the sake of your fathers.

If they can give a thorough response to this that gives us a clear lay of the land, I'll log onto mtgpq and make a big purchase right now, seriously.

Maybe they'll listen if we try that approach "Customer!!  Customer here!!" *waves wallet in air*

Did anyone sign up for the newsletter?  Was there any info in that?

A note to the community... since we're all kinda peeling off from MTGPQ now and playing other games, shall we start using the 'Other Games' subforum more?
Considering it appears almost all of the recent threads there were moved from here anyway, I'd say we already are  :D

Haven't we just done that? A lot of people signed up to VIP. I was hopeful that the cash injection from that might make some kind of difference to the game.

Yet things have gotten worse, and VIP itself was plagued with many issues, and my fear is that uptake on that feature might have dropped off.
I mean...yeah.  Maybe D3 will let another company take over mtgpq someday.  It's not going the route of the previous developers, but it's reaching a similar destination  :/

Curious? Why do you say "was helpful?" The first set to fully take advantage of the influx from VIP subscriptions hasn't even been released yet. The closest thing to a result is Wrenn & 6 and the two exclusive Mythics which have been working without any glitches like the last run of PW have been. As for bugs and what not we all know that 3.8 is supposed to include a large batch of fixes and the last batch fixed a fair number as well. Let's wait and see how things are when the next set rolls out. if nothing changes and it's the same old story... then they definitely have some explaining to do.

    Q&A
Yes. You're absolutely right that we haven't done a Q&A in a while. That's something that's been on my plate, and when combined with the M20 set coming out in 3.8, we just haven't had the bandwidth to run one recently.

We hope to change that after 3.8 comes out though by making the way we approach compiling questions more efficient. We're looking to try out some sort of online form that players can visit and submit questions, instead of creating a forum thread and manually collating them. Automation!

There's also the added benefit of Oktagon having direct access to the questions, instead of waiting for us to pass along a completed list.

    3.8 Release
At the moment the team is still hard at work on the development of M20 and its various contents, but I'll definitely check with them again on its status when they're back in the office on Monday.

@Brigby, alright well I said I'd make a purchase if Brigby answered sufficiently and I'll honor my end and buy something, I just really hope this is legit and not more fluff.

Looking at the Nantuko Sanctuary package.  I'll probably never use the card, because it is pretty bad, but I do like the ideas they were working on there and would like to see more content like that in the future (just hopefully more useful).

Nantuko is insanely good with Wrenn & 6. I've been able to simply discard any Nantukos, then bring back via 1st loyalty. Board wipes are nothing. Wipe the board. Loyalty 3 and you're sitting on a 40/40. While nantuko may not be great for many PW. In graveyard builds that bad boy shines. But with W/6 ... good lord. Abusive stuff in legacy. When the sets drop... this will be a very difficult combo to deal with Imho. I was pleasantly surprised at just how synergistic Nantuko is with W/6. Also, if you have Hanweir battlements and Hanweir troops... it just gets better. Nantuko is a good card with a lot of future potential. I wish you the best my good friend

That's fantastic!! I'm glad to hear you've found a creative and useful strategy with the cards.  I'll reconsider my view of the card....I will have to explore your ideas when W/6 comes to the Vault (I hope she does and isn't a purchase-exclusive planeswalker).  I wish you the best as well my friend :)
