What happened to Announcements?

A Thor cover bundle came online and expired after several days.

A Quicksilver costume bundle came online and is about 1 1/2 hours from expiring after something like 4 days and seemingly endless pop-ups.

A DOOM!war costume is live in VIP as a Day 1 reward, replacing the Doc Ock costume.

Yet nothing has appeared on the forum for any of these things.

Is Brigby OK?  Is the game OK?  What's going on?

It's quite obvious that the players in this forum are not the targeted segments. Just like how they didn't make a post about making changes to 1* Spiderman.

Besides, what kind of comments do you expect in a typical costume bundle thread? The thread will attract comments like the game is a money grab, or they should put it in progression rewards, or comments like instead of taking time to solve dilution, they are focusing on costume bundles.

Maybe they had a maximum of 1,000 posts in that forum and now they have nowhere else to put them.

Eighty percent of the posts on these forums are negative. I think the positive ones just stick out more.

but it wasn't a positive comment. It was just an uncalled for slam against the forum.

Is it an "unreasonable expectation" to go to the official place for announcements to look for official announcements?
Are we being greedy players asking for more and more....or is it something than has been a constant since 6 years ago? (who's gaslighting whom?)
Do I need to start paying for Brigby to do his job? only VIP gets to know next weeks boost list? what kind of hurdle should I have to endure to receive marketing.
cue someone bringing Disney into it about licensing decisions.....but the bundlz was finalized with approval so the announcement certainly wouldn't violate any terms of disclosure.

my expectation is that a professional could wordsmith an announcement and get it through the editorial process within about 45 minutes. maybe another 45 for enriching with graphics. Then lets add another 30 minutes because the UI for the forum is garbage. It's not technical difficulties; You know it's all cloud. They game developers, not a mom and pops bakery. my "expectation" is that the technology company I regularly pay money to does basic brand outreach and tell us about relevant developments. My "expectation" is to be informed of sales, discounts, special offers etc for one of my favorite products since I have voluntarily agreed to receive this info. My "expectation" is that because people are 3/4 more likely to complain about a television show than take effort to praise it; that the forum will skew towards snark and seeming negativity, but it is usually funnier than a circle of backslapping. my "expectation" is that when the devs do something worthy of praise that the forum will respond appropriately: see saved covers, pVp Hybrid wins, etc

I don’t think I need anouncements for this stuff anymore than I need help to tie my shoelaces. It’s self explanatory. A pop up is enough.

Well I just hope that they don't screw up the end times of Anniversary and the Anniversary vault like they did last year which ended up screwing over me and a lot of people.

What happened? I cannot remember last year's anniversary. It was pretty by the by right?

There was a bug with the Anniversary vault and it automatically reset with the end of the pvp season. I had like four or five things left in my vault like 2900 hp, a Devil Dino cover and iso adding up to like 4500 iso and was ready to use my tokens from the season rewards on it to get the last few things only to see that the vault had reset.

Kinda disappointed. I wanted the new announcement to be an announcement that they still make new announcements.
