Alternate art Vanguards don't count for preset decks

Just saw with NB3 preset decks that having an alternate art card does not count towards completing that deck.

NB3 expert deck has Sarkhan Mythic vanguard in it which I got from last planechasing event but is not included.

Feels a but strange though, introducing special art cards that are somehow at a premium, but don't count in all areas. Then they should have changed the name slightly as well and given it a slightly better ability.
