    I agree wholeheartedly

but how do we know that beta testing isn't already being done? Just because something was beta tested doesn't mean it's free of bugs.  That just reduces the number of bugs that players may encounter without beta testing.

Let's say that an event which nodes display "raw_destruction_title" isn't reassuring if beta test has been done already ...

@Bil - Though I think, we all have seen bugs that simple testing should have caught, that does not prove conclusively that testing is not being performed.

Different language versions are very difficult to test, in my experience, since you must get testers in various languages. So I think your example is a bit harsh, that being said, it is an easy mistake for the devs to make, but just as easy to fix, so that shouldn’t happen.

Oh i'm not trying to be harsh here, and i have no knowledge about coding so I'm not trying to judge ...

However from a non-coder customer point of view ... It doesn't give the impression of being tested properly.

However, about the whole thing, i highly doubt that events arent playtested at all ... But i think they aren't tested deep enough (by testing each secundary for  example).

    Well I disagree.
25 jewels is a small compensation for not beta testing an event or a new card. And the small guy still make any game were he is in library of a player very, very slow.

Okay you can walk around of those bugs. Do not use him and don't play for 18h on Saturday. But that's not right way I think.

Not beta testing will bring issues like endless jewel (or at least more you can ever use), that result in a hard system restore. That did not kill the game.... Not yet.

25MJ are nice to have. But I would not pay a much more real money for such a porcelain tower, that get shuttered every now and then.
    Sooooo....

What your saying is it was better when we had a less stable game and got nothing?

    Ok.

    I disagree.

I've been here almost 4 years. The game is far better than many other periods in this game. In those periods I spent way more money and lost way more rewards because the game was way less stable, the rewards for things were fewer, the opportunity to advance was less. When something went wrong, there was absolutely no response. We lost whole weekends with nothing. Not 25 jewels, not an apology, not anything.

This weekend I lost 18 hours of play time and got something free. I didn't even lose a single charge or single point in AWR because of it. Basically I spent 18 hours having my real life and still got something free. That free thing was an apology. It was good manners.

I will not be ungrateful for an act of good manners after 4 years of being ignored. It shows they are trying.

This game is a roller coaster. I'm still here.
I'am here since only 3 years, and yes there always were bugs. Sww isn't new to me.

What I wanted to say, if I had a choice I would prefer a stable game instead of 25MJ and fight for rewards for myself.

The reward structure is a whole different problem. I remember bigger 'sorry gifts' from the past. And issues weren't that big that the game have to rollback like a month ago.

    Okay, maybe we just differ.
I play Legendary:Game of heroes and when they mess up, they immediately offer rewards and an apology.  Other games have done the same. MTGPQ is one of the few that almost never did. Now those other games addressed their problems going forward and many players took the stance you're taking. Stuff your rewards and give us a stable game. But in reality what they are saying is stuff your apology and give us a stable game. In the perspective I would have to ask... why should they when we won't even accept an apology? Mistakes happen. If they are willing to acknowledge that and offer some compensation and work towards correcting the issue. Then I say that's a win for all involved.

    Good point!

But wouldn't be beta testing a better option?

I have more money than time to spare and I'll not hesitate to invest the first to save the second... if it works. That's my point!
