    Why not continually repeat the mistakes of the past? They just don’t learn from their mistakes. How disappointing that we have to go through this dupe **** AGAIN.

    I knew the vanguard cards were going to not work as intended.  Thanks for sounding the alarm and taking one for the team.

    This is by design. It was stated in the 3.5 patch notes post, but you did have to dig through all the player questions to see this.

    I agree that given the cost of the packs, and the fact that the currency is not purchasable or grindable, giving duplicates is a really bad move.

    Third card was a duplicate of the the first. No way will I waste purples on this anymore.

    Let's be honest, that's even more abused when there's only one pool of card, which makes players unable to target them .... I spent about 4500 pinks on the vanguard's, half the pulls were dupes .... Could you just imagine how many pinks would be wasted if you try to complete the set considering the ONLY way to get them is the dupe-feast pack ... 
      In the meantime among the 30 mythics of the set , only 12 are available in boosters ...

    Do not forget the vandguard rare supports, they only are available in the 120 pinks boosters. So even if the change  the 300 pink to non dupe (crossed my fingers), the rares will only be available in dupe boosters.

    This movement without any advise (about dupe I mean) is ...

    And the plan is going on in this way with old and future planeswalkers  >:)

    I was actually considering both rares and mythics ... The main difference is that we are used to pull dupes from the rare pack ... But not from the mythic ones.
      Besides gambling with mythics is almost 3x the price of a rare gamble.

    Considering future and older  sets, i hope they'll only release a few vanguards per set ... War was particularly full of walkers so we can imagine it will be an exception.

    Anyway, if they plan to give non dupes in the vanguard packs ... I'm widely open to a pinky refund ... I opened my 4th domri this morning ...

    It seems like the correct way to use these will just be to avoid them entirely. With some of the mythic in the last few sets play to fast matches and you won't miss that extra ability you could have used for like 2 turns.

    They should have made both 120 and 300 packs non-dupe.  And removed the mythics from the 120 pool.

    Would be better, but even in that way they are very expensive because there is no other way to get them.

    What? Wow. I missed that. That's an unfortunate design. I bought one vanguard, and I guess that's the only one I'll be getting for the rest of my days until they change this.

    Same for me, I got one mythic (400) one rare (120) unuseful both for me right now.

    Pretty simple: skip vanguard supports and possibly most of spark set and see what the devs do. I now regret supporting the vip program seeing dupe pinkie packs myself and picking up new tezz. Such an insult to get dupes on pinky packs.

    wont bother with the 300 packs just 120 and go until i get to many to make it worth the effort 50% roughly should take about 15 to get over half way

    Dont waste your jewels. Post botched rewards, i dumped 20k into the 300j vanguard packs. Hit 11 of 12.

    I put about 20k jewels into the Vanguard packs and wound up with all but Chandra and Vivien.

    A fun experiment, but a bit demoralizing.

    i was just happy i got all the masterpieces available even if i couldnt keep them lol
