    huh,  looks like they shields got switched around.  double check your shield before you buy.

    Anyone care to speculate/offer an informed opinion as to why the servers were updated?  Just keeping up with demand/replacing aging equipment?  Does the upgrade offer any hope for new things to come?

    Obviously no change was apparent to players.  (Now that the shield purchase screen was fixed very quickly.)  Game performance seems the same as always to me.

    Not really necessary to speculate, there were probably just some updates for the backend architecture that piled up. Boring database and OS stuff. I don't take it to be anything more than maintenance they said it is.
