Seems like another attempt at punishing grocket. I would want to capitalize on his passive so 5 on it.

Feels like his green would punish his black too much not making it as effective. Seems like it would be tough to get the full 9 on the board for max damage.

Kinda sad his red doesn't use your own strikes. But it still seems pretty good.

Both Ronin and Sabertooth would've been much better 5*'s than the drek that is Rescue. That being said, Sabertooth looks excellent and is a far better Gritty counter than Rescue.

Please stop using recent 4* characters in training!! Not all of us have 10 covers in Thanos Endgame yet, and this is the second of third time you have used recent 4* in training. There are DOZENS of other characters, but can you at least try not to use someone within the last 3-6 months???

I'm really looking forward to getting him Champed with those cheap powers.

Lots of uses beyond just Grocket too. For example the PvE battles against Dakens or PvP battles against an enemy Valkrie or other strike tile creator.

So I am happy we get sabertooth he looks good but why could this character not waited a week?  Saber tooth has nothing to do with end game?  If it was to get lined up with Spider-Man why not just go an extra week without a character release?

Why wait?  They know there is a major dilution problem but they don’t care that much about it to delay a release.

@Brigby If there are two or more strikes in a single match will it destroy a 3x3 for each strike or count them all as one?

It will destroy a 3x3 for each Strike tile in the match. I just tried it out with 5 enemy Strike tiles in a Match-5, and it did in fact trigger You Shoulda Run 5 times.

On the one hand, he looks neat and has an interesting power set. 

On the other, he is 4* #84 (the 80th non-Limited one), and we are 6 4’s from you having a less than 1% chance of pulling a non-bonused specific 4 from a draw.

His pvp will be a lot more fun for the thorkoye crowd than the gritty teams, like Valkyrie his red is perfect for Okoye.

If Sabretooth had been amped up to a 5*, he would be the first real meta once since Kitty.  As it is, I will get the one cover I need for PVE and call it a day.  He definitely looks fun in 4* land and maybe paired with Okoye he might be decent.  As it is, I will get the one cover I need for required PVE node and call it a day.

I tried that exact scenario out with a 270 Sabretooth, 450 Thor (Gladiator), and a 450 Okoye.

Matched the black with 1 enemy Strike tile. Okoye jumped to the front. Sabretooth's passive triggered. Okoye remained in front.

Awesome character. Like the skill set. Wish he was a 5*, as he'd finally be someone worth pulling for, but look forward to seeing him try to counter gritty.

Stoked for Sabretooth! Now if we can get Omega Red my favorite childhood Wolverine battles can all be recreated. 

He looks great, definitely a 5/3/5 for me.
