Wow...interesting that $0 has the most votes so far.0

What if I bought the 49.99 pack, but then sales tax brings me over $50? What should I vote then?0

Actually, that's pretty uninteresting for a F2P game. D3's internal numbers showed (for March, iirc), that only 8% of the active users made a purchase.0 -
Around 6 months in and I believe I'm around the 300-400 range. I could be off a lil though.0

I've only bought 2 Logan Loonies, primarily for roster spots and have been sitting on most of the second purchase for a while, using it for shields lately though due to death brackets.
I will only purchase when they are on sale and have been having a philosophical debate with myself lately as to whether or not I should buy another one any time soon.0 -
Kamahl_FoK wrote:$65 between roster slots early on, getting a guaranteed Punisher for the Hulk event, and getting my last 2 spiderman blue covers.
That last purchase was made at the end of December I believe. Haven't dropped a dime since, they're continuing to do nothing to actually improve the game. Alliance chat was the one beneficial aspect to the changes they've implemented that didn't feel hamfisted, although forcing players to join alliances (and drop HP to increase said alliance sizes) in order to have a shot at third cover rewards is incredibly dirty.
Same exact progression other than I bought my spidey blues later.. Not sure I would buy more even if they improved a bunch. The best characters get changed over time, roster slots aren't that important since you only need half the characters (I have me all, except IW, I just can't seem to find her). And ISO is way over priced. So this late in the game I think I just know better.0 -
About $50, mostly just for roster spots (and the occasional token pack, plus finishing off my OBW) until my income of HP from rewards was enough to make sure I always had enough for the next roster slot when I got a new character. I'm pretty sure this is the first F2P game I've ever dropped money on actually.
And quite frankly as someone who buys a **** ton of games (I think I may have a problem... ) and usually don't get my money's worth out of them, I'm happy with the money I've spent. The way I figure it if I play a game enough that my money to time spent playing ratio is $1/hour or better then it has been money well spent. So far I've played MPQ at least once a day (usually more like 3 or 4) for the past 166 days...the math works for me0 -
i hope the devs and community managers are reading this.
i too have spent quite a bit on this game when it first was released and was fun. now i also refuse to spend a dime because of the tinykitty **** they've been putting players through.
seriously d3, make bracketing the way it used to be. first time players should NOT be able to be as competitive as those who are day 100+ players. they need to work at it just as we all did, which was party of the **** fun.0 -
$25-$30, mostly for roster slots, occasionally for a token. Haven't purchased any ISO or any covers directly.0

More than any other game I've played really. Which is shocking to me. This is the first free to play that I've dumped money into. And its been a lot.
But it doesnt feel good to have some of that money trashed with the Spiderman nerf. He was the first character I got to 100 and I bought covers for him. Hes still a part of my roster but not as a blue user. I use his purple to help on defense mostly. I havent spent a dime on the game since they announced it and my play time is down about 50% I'd say. TO me if they are fine with changes that drastic I'm not comfortable putting money into any other characters.0 -
Sadly I've spent close to $200. I had gotten a few 10-packs when I started, and recently bought HP to get my roster slots up to 41 in preparation for Fury and Sentry. After reviewing the forums, I realised that the'll be releasing at least two more characters that they silhouetted at c2e2 (probably She-Hulk and Mohawk Storm), so I need 44 total.0

Bump...I'm pretty sure some of the numbers have changed drastically with True Healing and Team-Up "features".0

I would guess they have gotten stagnant, as many people stopped spending money after those changes, keeping their total spend right where it was.0 -
I'm afraid to figure out the amount. Actually, afraid of my wife figuring out the amount. I can't tell her and I don't have to lie if I don't know it.0
-
I put down 20 bucks when I first started and another 20 bucks when they brought back 3 color cover rewards as a "good job D3" incentive.0
-
I spent 5$ on HP to buy slots so I would not lose some covers I had won0
-
I'm still in the same Range as when i posted the first time - $250-$1000.
My most recent purchase was for a stark salary discounted by 30% during the Google play sale. I spent $70 for 20K HP...i still have over 19K of them.
The game is still entertaining and occupies a lot of my down time. I still consider my investment in the game of good value.

I have spent ~$60 over 9-10 months. And I think I've actually saved money, because since then I have spent $0 on other games. I bought daily deal single covers back when I was in the 2* stage and few times when the probabilities for specific 3*s were decent. I can't see myself doing that now, so I my spending has leveled off. A big expansion to the game could change that, though.
My PC died about 6 months ago and I don't think I'm going to bother rebuilding it. Because of little kids, desktop and console games might be out for a while. To me, this game has been a pretty good value for the amount that I've spent.0 -
My general plan was to pay $20 every month or two, but I've been averaging less than that. I like the game, I consider it a contribution for time played rather than an investment in the future - this way I don't feel obligated to keep laying to justify my investment. Last time I spent at the $50 level, but since it was on sale it was like $33. I expect to coast on that for a few months.
I enjoy opening the tokens, so every day or three I buy a "Heroic or Better" token for 100 hp. I do believe it has expanded my roster well - about 1 in 5 is a 3*. I think this and new roster slots are where most of the points went, but I'm sitting on over 6500 now.
I realize I didn't give a total. I believe it would be $83.0
