Hi Everyone,

Who wants to win some extra awesome rewards this month? Since we didn't have a contest in March, we'll be combining the March contest together with April's contest! Get ready though. This one will really test your theory-crafting skills!

We want to challenge you to see how many friendly Strike, Attack, Protect, Countdown, or Critical Tiles you can have on the board at the same time. There's a catch though. Each tile grants a different point value, so you need to find out which combination nets you the most total points!
  • Attack Tiles: 1 Points
  • Strike / Protect Tiles: 2 Points
  • Countdown Tiles: 3 Points
  • Critical Tiles: 5 Points
Players must submit their entry by posting a comment down below with a screenshot (or a link to it) of their board, however, they can edit their guess at any time before the contest ends. Since your screenshots will be visible to other contestants, we highly recommend cropping out the team that you used from the image. In addition, please include in your comment the number of points you acquired. We will be double checking for due diligence, but having that number readily available expedites the process significantly.

The players with the 3 highest point values will win the following prizes:
  • 1st Place: 1x Cover of any 5-Star Character (or lower)
  • 2nd Place: 1x Cover of any Classic 5-Star Character (or lower)
  • 3rd Place: 1x Cover of any 4-Star Character (or lower) or 1x Latest Legends Token
We will be closing the contest at 6pm PT / 9pm ET on Friday, May 3rd.

Good luck!

    Edit (03/05/19)
The contest is getting crazier as the deadline nears.  The minimum point to beat is 193 points.

Is there anyone out there who can pull off 59 cd + 5 crit for 202 points?

The top three scores as of now are:

    1. Vladdy - 194 (63 cd + 1 crit)

    1. Basepuzzler - 193 (61 cd + 2 crit)

    3. scottee - 193 (61 cd + 2 crit)

@Brigby There should be bonus points for having them fortified.

Does a repeater count as a count down tile?

If the actual game included things like this it would be a giant improvement.  I look forward to putting up a score.

Let me try this one more time.

    37 cd x 3 = 111
    2 crits x 2 = 10
    2 strikes x 2 =4

    Total 125pts

I look forward to the first Photoshopped picture of a board with 64 crit tiles.
Yeah I was wondering about that too. You need actual game shots or can I just photoshop a winning *legal* image (so no 64 crits. LOL).  More importantly, who would know the difference?

All joking about photoshop aside, if this is real screen shots only then players that have full rosters have a huge advantage over those who don't. Unlike prior contests where anyone could enter a guess.

P.S. The minimum value to enter should be 129 points. The reason for that is there have been several screen shots of boards filled with 64 strikes (128 points) posted before using 3* Bullseye. Here's one I dug up from the old MPQ World Record thread. Hence my entry is 128 points :)

Most (if not all) phones where you can play MPQ (decently at least) have video recording capabilities, just require video proof and there will not be any doubts about the submissions legitimacy.

you have to post the image to a public hosting site like imgur.
easiest way is post to imgur via their app.  copy the link to the jpg file and then post liknk here

I believe the max possible score is 246. Good luck actually achieving it.

Currently at 168 points with 56 timers.

Not going to bother with pic since others are higher.

I suppose there is a chance to get more, but it seems to rely on luck at a certain point.

You have to get the colors you need, while not getting team up tiles etc.  You could literally have 30 AP in every color, and a team capable of covering the board with timers, and still not be able to do it if RNG isn't working for you.

I like this, but critical tiles should be worth many more points. With each extra critical it's exponentially more difficult to keep them on the board.
