I would rather level up OBW first since she fits in almost any team and is really great at 3/5/5. If you don't have much iso, save it up a little until you can dump some of it on a strong 3* character that you have enough covers for.

You'll get them soon enough. 2* covers have become a lot easier to acquire.

You really want Storm with 5 in red (so 5/5/3) to utilize the cost reduction. I ran Thor/mStorm in my early days of PvP, and generally I just stuck to Desert or if that was unavailable Jungle/Forest usually is. Basically you focus on collecting red, green, and yellow unless you really need to deny an enemy's ability (like OBW recon or something). You fire off mStorm's red to collect a ton of environmental AP and hopefully some cascades or at least a favorable board. If you're in Jungle, that fuels everything with the +5 to all ability; if you're in Desert, you use oasis a couple times (it's super cheap) and usually get a few green AP + cascades. Use green AP to either Call the Storm and win, or feed it back through Storm's Lightning Strike to generate more AP (since 10 green turns into 14 "random"). You can usually do this a few times, while also generating other colors for whatever other abilities you have. Thunder Strike is also key to this since it can deal a bunch of damage while also generating green to help fuel the rest of the combo. Unfortunately Lightning Strike doesn't do a ton of damage, so it sometimes takes a while to actually win (build up enough spare red for Mjolnir's Might and get them low enough for a lethal Call the Storm), but it's also pretty hard to lose once you get enough AP built up to sustain the combo.

Widow was mentioned because she completes the rainbow with blue and purple abilities/match damage, but if you're in PvP you can't bring along a 3rd so I would stick with Thor/mStorm at least until you get OBW or another top end 2* up and running.

Astonishing Wolverine combos nicely with mStorm's Hailstorm ability since the attack tiles get buffed by Wolvie's strike tiles. He also combos nicely with OBW if she has espionage at 4 or 5 for the same strike tile reason (you get to "double dip" the strike tile bonus cause espionage damage is separate from the tile breaking). Wolvie/OBW is fairly low health for 2* combos, but it can kill fairly quickly. Similar to cStorm/MnMags, you're trading offensive speed for lower HP. The way PvP has been lately, you're likely better off with more of a deterrent like Ares, but for now you should just use the best team you can field and worry about metagame stuff when you have more options.

Last one I'll bring up is A. Wolvie + Daken. It's maybe more pronounced in the 3* combo since clearly both versions are better, but if both are maxed, the health regen can be really annoying to other teams. The downside is that both use red for their strike tiles so you'll eventually match some away to build up for Adamantium Slash. You also don't have nearly as many active abilities as other combos, so it's probably not the best, but Daken is scary to a lot of people on defense, so it might deter more people from attacking you.

and 6 2*covers
so my roster is still the same as before i only have im35, juggs, mbw, and mstorm but she is the best one star so im going to need space correct????

As a 3*-ish player (I'll still use OBW quite a lot, so can't exactly say I'm just 3*), the only 1* I will ever bring out of hibernation is mStorm, basically for her red ability, in PvE only. With the way covers are handed out like candy from pvp events, I wouldn't worry too much about dumping any of your other 1*s as the only time you'll miss them is in a heroic event where they might come in handy if you're short on the available 2*. For where you are right now 4* covers are pretty much meaningless, but it's a nice trophy to have so I wouldn't sell them unless it came to cutting a 2* that's actually good. Plus maybe in a couple months you'll be able to start think about trying to win more of them.

Always keep the 4*s. Get rid of any 1*. I never looked back. As for which one, I don't think it really matters. I'd probably keep IM35 just because of his level and higher hp.

So I just opened a heroic token and got a captain America Steve Rogers 3/4s of my team is now full of 3*s and my only 1* is Modern Storm now but I don't know if he's really worth it

Should I get rid of my 2* daken for Steve Rogers ?????
