not so sure he needs the buff just have to be a lot pickier about the cards in his deck, he isnt just a good choice to test decks out with is all 82 is about the same as c1 and she is, while not top teir a good pw by all means
Wow.  I haven't heard Chandra called a "good pw" in a very long time.

82 health was considered a bit low even back when 100 was rare, and now that every walker has 120+ health 82 is just ridiculous.  That's why I said +20 would be fine.  102 is still considered low for a walker, but certainly not awful

how not? her abilites work well together not tied to a defunt block and if you learn the deck and the meta she can win in most and actually be worth the good fight involved. dont know about you but i get bored having the same fight every battle, that said she wouldnt be a first choice but i got to platnium in red with her before i ever bought another non beginner pw

Gotta be careful throwing around words like objectively. Sorin may be arguably bad, but that's completely subjective. I'm a veteran Player in a top 10 coalition, too.

People always call his mana poor. On what planet is +4 on 2 colors with no negatives bad?

His life total isn't stellar, but something is probably going wrong if 82 life isn't enough. Especially when all anybody really runs with him is life gain.

To be fair, I'm 100% opposed to buffing/nerfing pws. Unless the issue is egregious , I suppose . I think he's a very solid walker. Try playing him without racing to his ult .

Not enough discussion about making a Sorin 2, IMO.

Unfortunately it's really unlikely that he'll be a major PW in the new set. If he was, though? Maybe we could see White-Black with a new viable playstyle (bringing life into all the lifegain cantrips would be fun).

Objectively:  I created a come from behind rating for each planeswalker.  Based on their abilities alone I gave 0 to 2 points for each of the following categories: 1) gain mana when behind, 2) gain cards when behind, 3) gain creatures when behind, 4) remove enemy creatures or supports when behind, 5) Ultimate can win the game on its own.

Top walkers like Kiora get 7/10 on this.  Sorin with 1 point is one of the 5 worst walkers in the game.  Figure in the low hit points and creature dependence and he is clearly niche at best.
