    While I'm not in this particular group (yet, anyway), this is literally the best way to get any kind change implemented.

    I encourage anyone who has concerns regarding these issues to follow these fine folks' example and not give them more money. It doesn't matter how eloquently you express yourself with your opinions on a turn timer, if you turn around and drop 25 bucks on new RNA packs, it won't make a difference.

    I mean, maybe? A whale can spend $1k a month on this game or more. The rest of us are often irrelevant compared to that.

    In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the reason this issue is being addressed is that one single whale emailed the D3/Oktagon and asked them to do it. It's not at all unusual for developers to have personal relationships with whales like this.

    Thanks for trying Octagon, now if you put that timer limitation just on Greg I'll consider opening up my wallet again.

    D3/Octagon sure doubled down on offers right out of the gate with this set. I wonder if the cash flow will be as expected or will this movement have any kind of impact on the bottom line.

    This update will save me time from loops....well from anything as the developers showed the depths at which they don’t value the game and the player base.  Time to take my $$ to another game/developer.

    This timer flop is something that would hurt whales and do more financial damage. Doubt they would support something like this.

    Can't see what you're thinking of. That would be a major feature! But that's again a thing of balance, in this case of an encounter - so a case by case solution again.

And rewards are better than they have ever been. It seems to me we are far far from the situation at the time of Not.Another.Dime.

    They wanted 18 seconds, settled for 90 and the message that they will tune that.

    Get money, then tune.

    Well this seems to have failed.  I've run into a half dozen Dovins already today, and he'll be on sale for crystals literally tomorrow (and isn't that great anyway)

    Well, now that they know it, he ain't coming anymore.
    Also, this isn't about truly setting their income stream to 0. It's only setting a signal - the strongest we have available. It's clear that only a minority of players knows about this, and those who do don't all agree.. So what? Nothing has changed because you've seen some dbs, except for your perception of the overall effectiveness.

    They made a proper last minute decision which was probably enough for most by extending the timer.
    also most people don’t have the willpower to join such a movement. They may however resist the less desired bundles but the immediate eye candy they will buy. 
    What else do you expect from a game that sole purpose is collecting?

    @starfall I agree this set is lame. Most of the new mechanics are close to useless and the abilities of the cards just aren’t really useable, they don’t combo well. There is a couple good cards so far maybe a couple more wiggle out. 

    Have you an an idea of best card yet? Or at least the “elite” cards?

    I won’t spend another dime until they correct there leveling system and I spent quite a bit up until this. I haven’t played a single event or match either.  If they will not correct it I will simply uninstall this game and move on to something else that actually values those who play there game.
