"Shape of Trident of Neptune" board destruction sounds a bit bonkers.

Hmm, now who makes blue tiles?

    Brigby,

What does the Trident of Neptune look like on the board? Presumable Random means players can't place it (ala GSBW).

Overall looks pretty Meh given 2 expensive powers which aren't AOE. Esp when you consider one of them has to be at rank 3 since I'll assume most players will want his AOE to be rank 5.

Also realized he makes Blue (via the Purple) but doesn't actually use it. So he needs a Blue user with him.

Ughh, Domino for Shield Training, even with BH'ing RNG has not been kind to me (so much for her being lucky!), oh well.

3/5/5 looks like a pretty safe bet. 11 black AP for 5k damage and some AP destruction is just ok. Definitely not worth shortchanging the other 2.

It will always appear fully on the board when used, no prongs hanging off the sides.
So then no chance it can hit corner tiles which are always the ones players desperately want to hit.  :(

Any chance it appears in another orientation (90, 180 and 270 degrees) or is it always pointing up?

For that you would have needed "shape of Namor's Speedo's".

Why is the left prong broken?

Green and black are way over costed. It's not too late to fix it! And no blue ability? Aquaman is laughing his **** off.

Is it just me or is his purple the only decent power?
The others seem both meh and over valued.

He looks pretty weak at first glance.

Good health, but no self-acceleration, no healing, and no special tiles.

Black is a straight up bad power. Expensive for very weak single target damage, and the AP destruction effect is also underwhelming.

Green might hit decently hard, but it's basically a less good version of imhb red (has a theoretically higher damage/ap, but only if you get a favorable board. His purple will help keep blue on the board, but I think you need 12+ before you start getting a worthwhile damage/AP ratio). Random boardshake is nice of course, but as noted above, it will never clear the corners, and it will also dampen the damage from second castings when the player does get a blue-filled board. And's very expensive too.

Purple is good. Not too expensive, keeps blue on the board for his green and generates blue ap to fuel someone else.  Plus 5.1k aoe damage is good for the 4* tier. Plus a purple aoe is unusual, and options are always good.

The standard 1 good, 1 meh, and 1 bad power design.  But the good power is only good (not quite great), and the meh power (green) is very meh.  Demi really needs to stop releasing 4* powers that cost 10+ AP for ~6k single target damage.  They just don't have a place in that tier of play.

Never say never of course, but I will be surprised if he is good.

Good to sea Namor finally arrived!

He seems okay, but not sure what they were thinking with his black. It's quite expensive and in my experience, 'strongest color' AP destruction isn't always that useful, either because it's not always an active power.

Also, can't help but notice his purple power description is worded a bit like the gimmick power I made up for him :D

He seems respectable, and having one big team attack power is a selling point.  B)

Weirdly (unless I've just not been paying attention), his SHIELD Training team-up looks to be designed to showcase Namor - so appreciate the effort put into that one:
    • Namor fueling blue and inflicting AoE
    • Mordo turns blue into damage & enemy's strongest color into charged black
    • Cloak & Dagger help harvest the charged black
    • Namor turns black into damage & suppresses enemy's strongest color further

Under the Namor & Friends vault, it mentions Call for Backup, and Domino, Cloak & Dagger, and Mordo.

Call for Backup missions are the ones in Shield Training that require the essential characters, so those three are your essentials. Might not hurt to actually list that information under SHIELD Training itself, but it has been provided, at least.
