Trying to stack sides hasn't worked since the first closed beta event when the majority of players were all in a big group together on Discord and agreed to stack. Even then, Nissa barely won. We literally had to count pixels to see who was winning.

The player base is too large and too spread out for a small minority of players on the forums and a couple of Slack/Discord channels to ever be able to sway the outcome.

Addendum: Yes, Nissa is the better walker among the two. Unfortunately, they matched a mono-color against a colorless walker. The availability of 4 colors of cards is too much to pass up for many players when building decks for this event. It was poor design.
Also, TED has won all the public runs of this event, so for anyone who doesn't care about Mana Confluence and would rather have the extra rewards... why not keep going with them?

We may need a different way to get Mana Confluence if this keeps up, and I hope this problem is taken into account when considering any future runs of the event.

Dev. please change it to progression reward (such as win 10/12 or 15 to get it) and switch mythic between Mana Confluence/ Eye of Ugin each week.

Being able to know who's winning also results in problems... Some people just join the winning side. It's meant to add to the excitement but that would only be true if it could _really_ move back and forth a LOT.There isn't the tension that the event is meant to have.

I actually think people shouldn't be able to pick... They should be randomly assigned a PW and the numbers kept even but then people would complain about being on the losing side randomly!

I think the solution has to be that if a side wins, the rewards for that side decrease on the next round to incentivize people to choose the other side next time. Like if TED wins this round, next time the Mythic for TED is not available and the Mana Jewel reward is halved.

Taking things away makes people feel bad. Games that want to make money should make sure people feel good. I like your idea but switch it from lowering prizes on the winner to raising prizes for the loser. Now no one feels bad and the game has happier players. Happier players spend more money just saying....
