Any chance we can try to stack the deck for Nissa? Spread the word, tell your coalitions? Stop picking the Eldrazi or we are never going to get Mana Confluence!

I support this (though I'll still be picking Eldrazi)

I picked up Mana Confluence during the beta and have gotten all the Zendikar cards from the packs at this point. I'd like more of the Eldrazi cards for free.....

I'm always switching around.. It'll be nissa this time.
I also don't think stacking sides do anything..

I didn't play the first beta and got the Eldrazi exclusive the second beta. After that I've been playing N4 to get Mana Confluence. I'm still choosing her ;-)...

Good initiative. I hope others will follow, but I'm not sure how the mechanics work that decide which side is winning.

I’m In the same boat as machine above me....

still playing team nissa trying and trying....

maybe as as well as stacking Nissa we could try to convince the peeps picking Ted to lose? 😀😀

I have every Nissa card except Confluence.  Not sure if its worth playing her again for.

On the bright side, the side I chose has only ever won once, so if I pick Eldrazi Nissa will probably win

No.  Completionism is a real thing.  It exists therefore I need it.  And the fact that it has been wholly unobtainable for most regardless of effort is a real gut punch.

    I use it, I don't think it's terrible...

Not only is it an immediate cost reducer while in play, but for planeswalkers like Koth who can mass destroy gems, you can get some really nice boosts on your mana gains. I'd say it really shines for him since it takes his negative gains on blue and white and completely eliminates them.

Yeah, four (I think) Duel Deck events, Nissa always lost, Mana Confluence probably will never be obtainable.

I mean, come on, even those old masterpieces from Kaladesh and Amonkhet sometimes show up again in the Vault for us to try to obtain again, so at least they can still be obtained if extremely difficult. But if the Duel Deck fiasco keeps up, Mana Confluence will be lost forever, and I hate that.

I’ve faced some people with Mana Confluence either Nissa won on the very first Duel Decks came as only a handful of people were chosen back then or there are brackets.

Nissa won the first beta. Those of us who got in and picked her have Mana Confluence.

Sorry, as I have stuck with Nissa I have all the Zen rares, so now I'm looking at the Eld rares... And even though I can't remember if I won Mana Confluence, I've  rarely seen it played so I'm not worried about ever getting it.

    As I thought

Question about scoring in this event for @Brigby - does completing the secondaries help your side win or is it solely based on just winning your matches?

Has this failed, TED has been leading for the last couple of hours?

Trying to stack sides hasn't worked since the first closed beta event when the majority of players were all in a big group together on Discord and agreed to stack. Even then, Nissa barely won. We literally had to count pixels to see who was winning.

The player base is too large and too spread out for a small minority of players on the forums and a couple of Slack/Discord channels to ever be able to sway the outcome.

Addendum: Yes, Nissa is the better walker among the two. Unfortunately, they matched a mono-color against a colorless walker. The availability of 4 colors of cards is too much to pass up for many players when building decks for this event. It was poor design.

.. And since we know nothing about the mechanic in the background, even that (it was twice, though) could just be an accident. My guess from the beginning was that the players are weighted against each other.. But since the devs remaindead silent we'll never know

Indeed, it does not worth the effort playing Nissa to get that.
