AI Config

Thank you for your feedback. Please do share your data and your analysis with us. I remember March last year encountering something similar once too. It was a cold evening, the harbor beneath my window bustling with commerce and longing, when - in a game I thought as won already - my opponent‘s Tezz1 managed an outerworldly cascade, prolonging my win for one round. After the match I closed the app and took a long walk along the pier.Monkeynutts said:Convinced the AI cascades intentionally when it is losing before it actually loses.2 -

Happens to me too. It sucks. I have rage fits and sometimes have anger issues because of this game - it feels ridiculously absurd... but it passes.Monkeynutts said:That's tinykitty. it is programmed. I've seen whole hands fill by ignoring 5s for a 4 that vertically cascaded 3 to 4 times. it's tiny kitty
Just so you know, you best defense is gem changers numbers 1 but also mana gem denial - getting the best possible match is not always the answer.
One thing that I've been trying is to use the game as therapy/mindfulness/help for gaining more self-knowledge and control.
This is a game. It does NOT matter at all to your real life. All losses are 100% meaningless, just a trick of your brain.
But your feelings are real and those of us who get mad sometimes at things in the game probably get mad at other things in life.
So you can start using this to calm yourself and (over time) adjust your automatic reactions and get to a point where you are calmer and better adjusted in real life.
When you lose to something horrible, instead of getting mad you can stop, and breath, and FORCE the thought into your head,
"This doesn't matter."
"My feelings are too extreme."
"Rage undeserved"
Have your rational mind step back and treat your emotional mind like the hulk and pat it and say these logical things (which your emotional brain doesn't understand) in a calm voice (because your emotional mind is an animal that only knows tone) and gently calm your emotions until the two halves of your brain can reintegrate and you can become a real person too.
And this forced calming of yourself then becomes a habit (because there are MANY spaces for getting mad in this game!) and you suddenly find that you are using the same things in real life and you become a much nicer person in both the real world and other online spaces and your life as a whole improves even though your circumstance haven't changed, just because _you've_ changed and used this game as a chance for growth instead of an excuse to rage.
Everything, even the things noone else can see, are a chance for personal growth.
(Disclaimer: All "you's" are generic and do not refer to any specific individual. Rage issues affect all to differing degrees based on many things, including just whether you've had "one bad day".)
