I loved koth but now that they're trying to force you to play land supports by nerfing your color generation hes kind of frustrating.

    Elspeth has some powerful decks.
    Kiora is a given.

For me the ideal 3 Planeswalker abilities are some form of:

    1. I don't have enough mana, fix it.

    2. My hand sucks, fix it.

    3. Make a huge board state swing, probably win the game.

In general, not considering mana gains or color combos, a PW with 1 of these 3 ideal abilities is playable, A PW with 2 out of 3 is good, and Kiora, who has, basically, 3-out-of-3, no drawbacks, and a few other pluses (great deck limits and a great color combo) is the absolute queen of them all. A lot of the planeswalkers I regard as the "strongest" have a 1st ability that is basically a utility spell (e.g., Bolas has a kill spell, Vraska has a support-destruction spell) and those are good too, but ultimately, I'd rather play cards than play abilities which is why I guess you could say my "ideal" utility spell on the first ability is mana ramp.

Putting aside card collections and instead going by mana gains, card type limits, color access, and abilities, I'd personally rank the top 5 as such.

    1. Kiora
    2. Teferi
    3. Bolas
    4. Karn
    5. Huatli 2 / Samut / Vraska

    In no particular order:
    Ajani1
    Bolas1
    Teferi
    Kiora
    Huatli2

    Situationally:
    Obby (lose no creature objectives)
    Garruk (token/creatureless objectives)
Saheeli (great for summon X creatures with Y power/toughness)

I'm very surprised at all of this. I have made dominant decks with Vraska and Nahiri in standard and legacy and yet, those 2 are my will and my word to Bolas. Bolas is by far the best pw in the game and granted, you do need a certain of rarity of cards to maximize his ability (aka: not for newbies) but the power of bolas is unmatched

Teferi is my current favorite, but that's mostly because I got lucky and got both Jhoira and Mox Amber in my first big batch of DOM cards. Then they changed Mox Amber so when I draw it with Jhoira and have both Capashen's out it casts immediately. It's most loopy standard deck I've made since Baral rotated out, plus it's exiling everything my opponent has or making their hand more expensive at the same time.

Having Omniscience and Whir , any blue PW for legacy will do and Karn. Bolas1 is elite as he can tap into HUF.  In standard H2 can ramp well into Ghalta from the angel hoard from Lumi and Decree, Bolas1 , of course, and Bolas2 for the longer battles as his flip can pretty much seal the game. Tef is great like Bolas2 as his 3rd ability can shut down the AI. Kiora is so well rounded and as she covers green in Legacy . Finally, I'm going to add Sorin as his unique color combo for Vamp objectives is fun.

Hey, my Tezz 1 lockdown support deck is pretty good.  I mean, he's useless for anything else, but he does his one thing pretty well

Once Upon a Time...he had the best mana gains in the game.

He's still super scary in legacy with Omniscience, but you could probably say a similar thing about most planeswalkers...

...except Huati1.  She was yesterday's potatoes even before she was released.

    God Pharaoh Bolas, full stop.

His access to massive amount of cards and combos are insane, his 1st abiility is ridiculous, and he even has monstrous HP on top of that.

    Next strongest... Not sure.
Koth currently is insane due to the Dragon synergy, but without that he's kinda so and so, but I believe still dangerous.
Kiora is one of the best walker from the start.
Ob Nixilis is one of the best creatureless walker around, although disastrously vulnerable to Lich's Mastery.
