2.8 Update Loading Issue

Having an issue loading after the 2.8 update - all I get is a blank welcome screen with a constantly spinning load circle.  I can get through the main loading updates but nothing from there - I can't access the Inbox button, Vault button, or menu drop-down.  I can see updates from my coalition's chat pop up, but can't get into chat using the icon either.  This occurs even after I've restarted my phone.  Anyone else running into this?

(Unfortunately I updated before I linked to Facebook because, well, I don't have a Facebook account...)

    Hmm, i just updated too and received the same screen then a time out message regarding connection to the net which I know I have. Servers overloaded perhaps?

    I would have thought it was a server issue, except past server issues have given an actual error, and I can see the coalition chat pop-up in real time.  I have heard others mention that they are OK after a reinstall, but I don't have the Facebook link backup.

    Well I do have Facebook but it's not letting me in. Hopefully it's something simple. I have already checked with my FB group and have a report of similar results

    Exactly the same here. Crashing the game and deleting the cache didn't help at all, the game is completely dead with the circle spinning in front of a blueish landscape.

    Same, on iOS. Unfortunately, because I can’t interact with anything in the app, can’t submit a ticket.

    Pressing the back button allows one to close the game normally, but this doesn't help much because after the next start one faces the circle of death again.

    Ok did some checking, in my newer phone, which just received security updates this afternoon as well, I get the circle. With my older phone, which is stuck on an older Android version, it's ok.

    My Android version is quite old (4.4.2), so it might be caused by something else.

    I'm also having this problem. I'm not using iOS so the reinstall workaround is unavailable to me.

    Same here on iOS.

    And two other coalition members have the same problem. 

    EDIT: Reinstalling the game works the problem. Make sure your account is linked to FB before you delete the app!!!!!!

    Hi all, 

    @Brigby is currently in transit. The dev team is aware and we are researching. We have had iOS users here uninstall and reinstall the game. They were able to get back into the game with restoring from Facebook. I know this doesn't help all. 

    I'll post back here as soon as I have an update.

    Uninstall and reinstall worked for me so it's probably a configuration file problem.
