Personally I think m19 a dispensable set. I would prefer that the current bugs be fixed and some cards buffered (mainly lands and masterpieces DOM). And then Ravnica could be better developed after.

Fix the bugs and fix Something Went Wrong.

Give us a real reconnect feature instead of a loss if the game locks up because of the bugs you didn't actually fix or Something Went Wrong again.

There are many ways events could be tweaked with minimal effort as to give us plenty of interesting things to do while stabilization and bugfixing is in place.

    Such simple tweaks could include:
    - Bringing older events back - I know some of the Kaladesh events were hated, but they were something else. Older Planeswalker events were also a lot of fun. Haven't seen the AMK Trials PVE event around in a long long time. Those would all be great! #OldiesButGoldies
    - Shuffling around objectives (I am all for this as long as it keeps things fresh and interesting) #ShufflingIsJoy
    - Different formats in events - right now we see only Standard and Legacy, but I suppose (and may be terribly wrong) the current engine allows defining events with specific allowed sets. I can see how some people might be upset by this (but wait, I don't really have a lot of KLD cards, or I was not around when SOI was at its peak), but right now there are awesome blocks staying down there in the "useless bin" simply because I have no incentive and opportunity to play with them. #MakeBlockConstructedGreatAgain

Bonus points if you can make this server-side, preferably data-centric, to avoid pointless code pushes for each such change.

With this in place, the team could focus on stabilizing the game engine, reorganize things and bringing proper fixes to bugs instead of just patching things around.

    Other (please specify)
The problem with "GREG" is that this bot doesn't utilize ALL of the Planeswalker abilities, only the FIRST one. I've seen GREG countless times sitting at the most powerful Planeswalker Ability and NEVER ONCE using it.

That depends on the PW. You will see Greg use Bolas' second all the time, he plays Ob and Nissa's ults frequently as well. (Good idea to sideboard discard against Ob so it doesn't come to this) Angrath and Karn as well (I got trampled by Karn tokens last week in TG).

For the most part, Greg is programmed (based on our observations) to play whatever abilities are available.

Remember, some abilities also require certain conditions to be cast -- is Greg meeting the conditions to cast the abilities you say he's not casting?

H2 cannot cast her ult with a full hand. Any ability that draws will not cast with a full hand -- Ob's first and Teferi's second are the same way. Bolas can't cast his first if he has nothing to kill -- so if you're playing him creatureless, better pack some removal because he will spam his second. Greg's own personal zombie apocalypse.

As you get further in the game and start playing against decks that are built around abilities, you will see different interactions with Greg -- and I'm not saying all PW use all abilities, but several do -- and it's a pain when it happens.

Greg improved (slightly) when they added limitations such as not letting him use card draw abilities with a full hand.
There are further rules that could be added fairly easily that would help like...

"Don't recast a token support unless it is down to 1 shield", this would help Huatli2.
With Karn "Don't shake the board unless you have no red matches"
With Kiora "Don't drain/gain mana if you are lacking a creature on the board/in hand" to encourage the later two.

We can never make it take everything into account, but a few more shortcut rules would help it get to later powers.

Yup fix bugs in all cards and the texting by going through them individually. Your paint can method is failing right now; but, after you do a once over, i have a feeling the paint can method will work wonders.

In the meantime, do what you are doing bu changing up objectives and re-upping some pf the older events.

I can agree that it would be nice to see the AI do something different with loyalty abilities, but the problem is it's hard for the AI to know which ability is optimal for the deck and for the match. One person might have a Kiora deck set up to use the second ability, while another builds a deck to try and quickly gain loyalty to use her third. The same idea can be applied to many other planeswalkers. So just using whatever is available is the best use of the developer's resources in creating matches.

An example is my Gideon3 deck was build to use his second ability, I'm 100% certain just for that reason alone, the AI is unable to pilot the deck, and it probably loses easily.

I chose other because I want to face off against an actual PLAYER in PVP battles, not just a bot playing a player's deck. Thank you.
I used to play a similar game that had live PvP. I found I spent a lot of time waiting for my opponent to take their turn (and yes, there was a counter). I did not like that.

Also once I fell asleep in the middle of a TG match and woke up the next morning and was able to finish it and get my points. This was cool.

I would prefer to have a stable game with a steady stream of interesting Player vs Greg content than to ever have to wait on someone to make their moves, or to lose matches because I get a phone call or need to get the meatloaf out of the oven.

The day live PvP comes to MtGPQ will be my last.
One of the other games I play has both options; PVP against an AI opponent as well as live PVP. I don’t see why we can’t have both too.

I think live PVP would increase freeze bugs a lot.
