I'm a commander in a little alliance, far below the majestic heights of KA Sith and the like.

Some members, like myself, are well into four star territory, and others are only starting to champ their threes. We've only got about half way through round six this time round, and we only got to round seven for the first time ever in the last boss event.

"OMG what a bunch of noobs", some may say.

But I'm happy with how we've done, as it's much better that we used to do when we first started out. Even if we only make it to this point, it still means that everyone gets two covers for a four star character, and three for a three star from the earlier rounds.

So I don't think that's too bad in the grand scheme of things.

I would like to see MORE first posts, story events,  versus events, shield sim, season. Individual or alliance, get to it!

Perhaps this can be seen as a failing of the game itself.  If the game gave us more things to compete at and strive for, we wouldn't have to make up our own competitions to test ourselves.

Can't believe the game hasn't had any interesting Infinity War or Deadpool tie-ins.

I would actually be interested to know the last alliances to beat boss events and to know if they did it before or if it was the first time. My alliance never got past round 7 yet, but last year we couldn't even get to round 5 in boss events, so that's something to be happy about.

In an earlier forum thread, I believe that being 1st in DDQ qualifies you for a “no prize” so...congrats on that!  Maybe...?

For the record, on behalf of the entire KA conglomerate: Congrats to all those who defeated all 8 rounds of Galactus, regardless of when you did it. Some probably liked the SG & Flaptain rewards, others not so much.
To the n00b teams that beat him for the first time, way awesome. To the long-timers that fell just short of beating round 8: You'll get him next time. To the power-player teams that are competing for worthless rankings -good on ya, guys.
In all cases, that's totally kool.

Is the overall post inane? Yeah probably, but it's for fun and it's not hurting anyone. It shows that there's plenty of folx playing this here silly little match-3 game and still getting some enjoyment out of it. So many good games have come and gone, but this one is sticking around a while -and that's what's best.

I would really like to know this, how late could you leave it to clear Galactus and end up as the final alliance to fully clear the event?

Being able to clear boss events isn't as big an accomplishment as it used to be. 

The new goal should be to see which alliance can finish the event in first.
