Wakanda Supports Are Coming! *Updated (5/17/18)

Hi Everyone,

Starting tomorrow (5/15), five brand new Wakanda Supports are coming to Marvel Puzzle Quest, highlighting some of the iconic elements of Wakanda and Black Panther.

General

  • Five new Supports will be visible in the Support screen at 7am EDT on Tuesday, May 15th
    • Vibranium Ore (Wakandan Secret)
    • The Dora Milaje (Protectors of the Throne)
    • Shuri's Lab (Maker Space)
    • Kimoyo Beads (Vibranium Communicator)
    • Ancestral Plane (Home of Panthers)
  • New vault and store offerings will be made available at 12pm EDT later that day (See below for more details)

Supports: Wakanda Store

  • Has all the contents of the Supports Comic Store plus the five new Wakanda Supports
    • Vibranium Ore (Wakandan Secret)
    • The Dora Milaje (Protectors of the Throne)
    • Shuri's Lab (Maker Space)
    • Kimoyo Beads (Vibranium Communicator)
    • Ancestral Plane (Home of Panthers)
  • Wakanda Supports are available at 4x odds
  • Has Beginner, Advanced, and Master packs
  • The odds to get a Rank 5 Support in the Master pack are roughly 1 in 29
  • Only visible if you have a token for it

  • Starts: Tuesday, 5/15 at 12pm EDT
  • Ends: Tuesday, 5/22 at 12pm EDT
  • A 280 item vault

    more importantly once these vaults expire.  will these wakanda supports ever be offered again?

    We still have not heard if the children of thanos supports are now officially retired and never to be sold again?

    Just never ending clutter in a menu there’s no real reason to go to. 

    Best situation at this point is they eventually give up on supports and exchange red iso and aquired supports for something actually useful. That seems to be the only reason to really try for them.

    I'd have considered the offer it was for 5* BP but not for the 4* variant @Brigby Can you confirm the 250cp offer is for the 4* black panther and not the 5* black panther?

    PSA to stress again:  That's a 4* BP cover for 250 CP, not a 5*.  Note:  He is not worth spending 250 CP on, in my opinion. 

    Just another store to skip for a week for me.  I will keep my HP for something else.  (we will have a new character coming soon, by the way)

    I am curious:  5 Wakanda Supports.  5 Wakanda characters - 3 BP, 4BP, 5BP, Shuri, Okoye.  Can anyone use them or just Wakandians?

    Oh wait.... 4* Black Panther is available for 250CP? 250CP is usually the price for a Classic 5*. Previously, 5* Thanos + Master Support token and some Riso cost 450CP. It made me want to jump on this deal.

    The rate to get 5* Support increased from 1:10 to 1:29? Don't tell me they have added in all the Infinity Stones as well? 14 initial supports + 10 IW supports + 5 Wakanda supports = 29 

    Will everyone get token(s) for Vibranium Vault?

    Wow, 300 red Iso, too generous Demiurge. It's gong to be a year before i have a maxed out support with 50 others waiting in the wings, what a useless feature. I would've much preferred they put their efforts and resources towards making new game modes.

    they openly admit that the flow of red ISO is a trickle, yet we're being inundated with more supports that won't get used because you can't level them up to actually be useful.

    I understand what they were going for, but I'm just ignoring them at this point, I just can't get interested

    For a four star cover, even with all the other Red ISO/supports stuff, 250 CP is not a good deal, IMO. D3 seem to still be getting a handle on the real world value of red ISO, hopefully many folks not buying these will help them find that floor. Can't be upset for them trying!

    I suppose the support roll out strategy is there to promote spending, but I have no idea who they're targeting on it. I doubt whales care, and there's not enough progress (and thus benefits) possible for 3* players to bite, and I would think 4* players would be focused more on certain covers or aiming for more 5*s and wouldn't care much about supports. It all makes no sense.

    Ooh goodie!!, a chance to get 50 2*s just what the game needs !!!

    please please please!!! Put support tokens in game as rewards 

    replace some or those things we never use in game like critical boosts or those power ups you give us for new releases 

    i can honestly say I’ve used those only  once
