I think he means using Garruk's loyalty to take advantage of PoD and chain out the Ghalta's and uncage. I have a similar build that adds in Verdant Sun's Avatar for essentially infinite life gain with Garruk.

That makes sense.  Don't Have garruk myself, hence missing that part of the puzzle.  Thanks

PoD + Garruk is pretty crazy. Once you get it online you can either make 4 1/1 snakes every turn or 4 2/2 wolves if you really get explosive early and have the surplus loyalty to keep making wolves instead.

Ghalta + uncage + path of discovery is a mess. Use it with garruk on some nodes. With some ramp and card draw it's unstoppable fast. Only rhonas give some problem if active. But no deck has it in this event.
Honestly curious, is there another card you're using the chain of Ghaltas to bring out via PoD?
Only ramp anf card draw. With garruk loyalities are enough creatures in this deck and uncage draw up to 6 ghaltas and instantly play for free and bring new loyality through pod until support is destroyed.

This is the first time I've had Ajani Vengeant big enough to use, so I'm enjoying him in many different places, slightly modifying the same base deck to be mostly spells or mostly supports as needed.
Etali makes sure every game is different and weird.

I REALLY missed having Baral available to me when facing off against Razaketh. (This of course when then event decided to stay stable and not crash mid match. Lots entirely too many points this time due to that)

Past that, though, it a pretty painless adjustment for me.

H2 has been my go to for this event. Even for Bolas. With Immortal Sun and Sphinx's Decree you can use all the creatures you want. Only one I haven't used H2 for is 2.3. Green and White just don't have the creature removal I need to nit objectives.

I've used H2 on 2.1 and 2.3 to good effect.  Big hungry dinos are more than happy to eat the enemy creatures.  Just have to have a backup on hand to deal with flyers.

Maybe it's because I don't have the big berserkers, then.

True, my deck is rather Mythic-heavy.  Gishath, Zacama, and Wakening Sun's Avatar do the heavy lifting, with Temple Altisaur as the token Uncommon.

Karn is the king of PVE. Hands down he enables LOTS of fun strategies. 😎

MY decks actually felt more powerful, despite losing RX, MWC and HoK.  Dinos are ridiculous.

I agree with this -- I coasted through this event despite using almost all new decks. I lost 5 points from not paying attention to an objective, but it was the easiest RotGP I've ever had -- and ironically, it felt like AI was dialed up a bit -- XLN and RIX just really met those challenges well.

That is a great concept! I can easily see how that would play out. Nice!
The trick I pull with Karn is using his 3rd to cheapen the Ghalta herd effect. I've not tried it with Kiora, but I imagine it's simpler just as effective.
