Why do you keep playing?

Because it's Magic (sort of), and I already deleted most of the other apps on my phone so there's nothing much else left to play on break time... :)

I play for a bunch of reasons-

I have a collection I've spent almost two years building and I can do all kinds of broken stuff in Standard and especially in Legacy

New cards and walkers do a pretty good job at keeping the game fresh.

I have always liked the match-3 style of game, used to play Bejeweled back in the day

It's a good connection to Magic. I don't get to play much of the paper game these days but I've been playing that for over 20 years so this game helps scratch that itch.

Most importantly, my coalition is great.  I've been in Extinction for almost as long as it's been around and the people there are what keep me anchored to the game.  I've taken breaks before but I always know I've got a home in Extinction.

@GrizzoMtGPQ last bullet!  For the plethora of skeptics who think allowing players to collect all cards would be damaging for the game...  Just sayin'

I think the game is a lot of fun.  And although they don't always listen, I do think they attempt to take our general feedback into consideration.  Some problems are just not that easy to solve when viewed from a multitude of lenses. (veteran, newbie, developer, etc)

And Karn just made it even moreso because he can play any combination of cards. This PW alone has opened hours and hours of entertainment value. Just wish I had more real places to use him. #dearthOfEvents
When I open him in TG "Pure Imagination" goes through my head -- every single time.

Karn has definitely re-peaked my interest in the game. I like broken things.
