Simple solution to seasons

Now that seasons are a grind, like the first PVE was D3 should solve it like they did PVE.
That's right folks, Season Rubberbanding. No reason for the Grinders and Top Alliances to take first place, Now you can just do really well on the last event of the season and take it all!!!
You are welcome community, I solved the problem.
P.S. Make sure the rubber banding algorithm is totally impossible to decipher. (it is more fun if we have no idea what it takes to win!!)

(posted separately because I don't want to derail my serious thread) Please take this for the joke that it is.0

I knew you were joking. If I can get it, hopefully most other can too. :-p0

This is an absolutely horrible idea! It would make the entire point of season completely moot! There would be absolutely no incentive to join anything all month long until the final hours on the final day! What could possibly be going through your mind with such a terrible suggestion?!?

Oh btw.../sarcasm0 -
Winning a match for 500 PvP rating sounds like a great idea!0

Wait, it gets better, disable shields to make it truly competitive, and end it at noon Pacific Standard Time.0
-
You know they'll do this now, right? The devs haven't made a decision that made rational sense in 3 months, so this will be right up their alley.0
-
When the first season ends, each player gets their score as a negative handicap going into the next season. So, if you have 10,000 points, you'll start at -10,000 in Season 2.0
-
I think they should make a shield roulette. You give them 75 hp for a chance that your shield will be effective - if your number isn't rolled - spend 75 hp and try again0

High five. Brilliant idea.0 -
Season end dates should be completely dynamic. Depending on how well the community does, the next Season will end either two weeks from now or on Halloween, subject to change at any time.0
-
To properly provide the challenge our players enjoy, all abilities have a chance to misfire and hit you instead, with increasing in probability the higher level the character.0

Nah, just buy a shield pack. 1* = 5 minutes, 2* = 15 minutes, 3* = 1 hour and 4* = 1 day0 -
Guys seriously STOP IT. You just know that Demiurge_Willy is reading this, taking notes and thinking "this is brilliant"0
-
unstable shield: 50hp. - this shield takes between 0-5 minutes to activate.0
-
You should also get bonus points in PvP for using Bagman. And be allowed to use multiple copies of Bagman in teams. If you use three fully leveled Bagmans, your opponent's device bursts into flames. Unless they've purchased a Device Supplemental Damage Insurance plan from Demiurge.0
-
Re-shield Shield : Now you must purchase another shield to reinforce your other shield as it has an 87% chance of breakage on 1st attack0

The easiest solution to Seasons would be to have only a certain number of events count in a season...Let's say there are 10 events in a season, your season score is your 8 top scores from those 10 events, this allows you to "skip" 2 events or not do as well as you'd like due to personal reasons and still be able to score fairly high..It wouldn't be that difficult to implement and it would prevent burn-out, which I and many others are currently suffering from...0
