OMG YES. I don't think I've ever lost a game because of floodwaters, but it did drag it out needlessly every time.

Only time it helped me win was exploiting the ol' Jace1 one-punch-man bug, RIP.

On an enraged match getting hit with Censor several times can be devastating. No different from Infinite Obliteration but Censor is a common.

That is true, Censor is actually a pretty good card compared to floodwaters. I've definitely lost to a well - timed Censor.

I will miss the best mythic in the game aka the most efficient burn spell in mtgpq, which is Torment of Hailfire...
I had absolutely no idea you favored that card...not even a hint ;)

I’m just highly relieved we still have Solemnity in the game as it is HOU. What would we do without it?? Especially now that cycling is rotating out. It was the greatest troll card of all time against cycling. But now it really has no use - as heaven forbid, what if the AI actually ever cycled a single card...
I would argue that Solemnity is the worst card in mtgpq (and that's not just from my personally salty perspective as I packed the tinykitty thing over 10 times).

Maybe other player's experiences are different, but the *very few* times I ever had an AI play that card against me, it was not in the first 10 turns (far past the amount of time needed for a cycling deck to get online), and other cards were given priority in the AI's hand to cast.

Even with its ability to make cycling decks less appealing, if the AI doesn't use it until it's too late it fails to serve its *only* function.

Not the ONLY function, it serves as a support count for cards that care about that, like storm the vault!

I actually had a Solemnity almost screw me over once. I got lucky and draw Dissenter's Deliverance right away, but if I hadn't I would have been stuck.

Can't tell if you are being serious or sarcastic... One of the worse mythics and you are better off using exquisite firecraft majority of the time.

I think the biggest blow to players will be New Perspectives rotating out. Yes, cycling will go. But so will Imminent Doom loop decks go. Personally, I’m kinda glad to see them go. Yes, I use ID loop decks. But facing them is a rage-quit encounter at times. So I can’t say I’ll miss it at all.

Oh, dont worry, you can still at those :) with immortal sun, most cards in your deck becomes free to cast, allowing you to just go off, although new perspectives will hurt it a little. Then again, that is why we have Karn, to enable the green loops, no? ;)

I'm not a cycling kind of guy . Really kind of wish it never happened to this game. The reason I'm happy to see it go is that cycling decks are miserable to play against and they're almost exactly the same. Desert or two , flood , censor, bunch of meh cards that just poke at you. Plus ,seeing a bolas cycling deck or a karn cycling deck seems like a waste of a sweet pw . Adios cycling, you carried me through trial of zeal. That's pretty sweet ,I guess .

How come it is the worst mythic in the game?  :worried:  :worried: :worried:
I use it all the time though... Only 17 mana for what is potentially 6-8 damage is huge!

I wonder if you could make some Hazoret's Undying Fury+Hailfire combo as a really risky way of taking on Azor's Gateway? He can actually get out enough supports to make Hailfire do damage close to its cost.
