Who are the legacy events for?

The legacy event currently running is Terorr in the shadows  . The rewards are to small for an old timer like me to play. We get better rewards from daily’s in platinum. If your a newby or somewhere in between you probably don’t have the cards to complete the objectives. Since the rewards suck why does anyone play these events? Please replace them with something relevant.

I really enjoy it with it's simplicity. And with some new cards to build with, especially vampires and horrors, it is fun.
And I also miss alot of Legacy cards from these sets so it's a good way to get cards or orbs.

If they put in these legacy events once or twice a week I will be happy.

We've been asking for more legacy events.  This is the devs listening to us.  Also, some rewards are better than no rewards, so I'll take what I can get.

I enjoy them. More content is good, and being able to use the old cards is fun too.

I'm 100% in favor of more legacy events.  I've played enough Standard games that I'm starting to resent my routine decks (and I have many of the better cards from Standard sets too).

It's nice to play some events with a wider selection of cards I can pull from, and it's great to give newer plays this opportunity...old cards for us can be new cards to them.

I play this one but all my werewolves run and hide hide kinda like my schnoodle when a stranger shows up.

Do you have Kiora?  She helps with that (so does Arlinn, but who cares lol)

Plenty of people: - those who like faster events - those who need legacy cards - those who want to use legacy cards I really like to have legacy events interleaved to standard ones

I love it. packs + rares equal orbs for crafting as I continue my quest for HUF.

I also like them. It's something different to do on days there is nothing to do -- orbs are nice -- I get to use cards I don't normally get to use anymore.

    Happy to see them back.

However, I had almost forgotten how much I hate Enraged though. Lol

I also like how the Masterpiece Kamigawa Dragons are also spirits, and can be used to complete the "Cast 2 spirits" objective ;)

All of you are happy playing the stale content and that’s fine. I think they should develop more game modes. I want live PvP scheduled events. Two headed giant. 4 player mode with a cross board like chess 4 How about a March madness tournament. I’m more upset that you all appear to be happy with crumbs. I want more cake.

    For me.

I got Oliva in a reward booster on a previous release of this event long ago, tough she was legacy, but you can imagine my face.

I still miss some of the mythics and rares from the legacy sets.

While those do sounds like fun mechanics to have, that would require some significant game overhaul to make 4-player mtgpq or two-headed giant work.  I'm not sure how realistic it would be to implement those ideas.

    Don't get me started. haha.

I am liking the low stress events. Not much on rewards but it's still something while you pass the time. Did discover happily that H2 does very well with Spirits in the white node.

Would you like to find the resources for all of this extra content.

I'm happy to see new content after 6 months, and bugs being addressed.

I'll take Terrors without complaining because there is so much more that needs to be addressed.  I don't know of any games that constantly puts out new content (ie different game nodes) at the rate some people here expect Oktagon to.

It's unfair to criticize them  they released 2 new events in the last month and a half.

It's also borderline insulting to insinuate that people are happy with stale content -- every time I play a legacy event, I use new decks and find something to make it interesting. It's only stale if you let it be.

Are you prepared to pay for that cake?

The time to develop, test and implement a bunch of new modes is going to incur costs, over and above the costs for their regular activity. And more free events, presumably giving out yet more rewards to players (and also making them less likely to need to spend cash), isn't going to do anything to finance those expenses.
