I think there should be split tabs for pve and pvp, and events running for both every 2 or 3 days with a day break, so for eg Fri, Sat, Sun (Mon off), Tue, Wed, (Thurs off)

Give us a coalition internal event that runs every day and in which you get to play only against your own coalition mates. No awards needed.

Yes! And let us see how our submitted decks perform against others in these coalition events. That would be a blast.

I’d like to see something like that with a decent rune payout per match like the 300 QB runes.

@Brigby, while it's great that you ask for feedback on the event schedules (and that you acknowledge that there isn't already an automated event scheduling process implemented), it frustrates me that you don't really seem to listen.

The thread you reference, and countless others, are great resources for improvements, and if there was any indication that you would actually try to implement any of these  improvements, I'm sure many would be happy to provide even more input.

The most pressing issue has been mentioned again and again, and it relates to the end times of events and how it makes competitive play impossible for people in certain time zones (unless they get up in the middle of the night to play!). How hard can it be to extend the length of the final charge !?

In general, I would also say that you should try to think of a number in your head of how long you expect an avid player to play per day. Perhaps 30 minutes is fair, perhaps an hour. A single event should not require any more time than that per day.

To be fair, the most Brigby can do is relay the feedback we give to the developers. It's not really up to him what actually makes it into the game. With that said, I am in agreement with a lot of the frustrations that are being expressed in this thread. I'll leave it up to everyone else  to decide whether or not they want more coalition events, but I think the general consensus is that we want more events, period.

    I want a "dislike" button!

I don't need to comment, I've done that before! I just want to register my disagreement!
Can I now register my disagreement with your disagreement?

    Looks like fun!

I'm on board with legacy events, all these old fun cards I had are now sitting around gathering dust...it's nice to break them out and use them once and a while :)

Hesitate to bring up something that may require additional effort, but:

Depending on how modular the event settings are, I still think it may be fun to have mono-set events.  As in a KLD event in which only the KLD (maybe AER) set is usable.  EM with only EM cards.  AMK with only AMK.  And so forth.

This was mentioned once a while back.

That would actually be a lot of fun.

Or the other idea that's been brought up before of specific Origins planeswalker events.

Here is a discussion thread from back in October that had players talking about what a good event schedule would look like: A proposal for a new event schedule.

Is this a schedule that still appeals to a lot of players? If not, then why has that mind set changed now? What do you think would be a good schedule?
Something like that seems pretty good.  I agree that it seems a bit legacy heavy.  I wish there were some pure PvP contests that actually had good rewards but weren't coalition events.  It is nice to choose which event to play without hurting your team.  But it is also nice to have something worth winning... Sorry, but 20 jewels for a first place finish isn't worth the time.

For me, I would just like to see more of the newer content, especially the new PvE event.  Also, we really appreciate the sneak peek.  It is a vast improvement to the "SURPRISE" events of yesteryear

I was getting worried, its been a couple weeks since you brought this up.

I guess I need to do my obligatory ping to @Brigby to ask for the mana loading wheel to come back.  I miss that thing so much

Thanks for the feedback everyone! It seems like most of you still agree with the player-proposed schedule, albeit perhaps if it was a little lighter on the Legacy events.

I'll be sure to include this thread in my weekly report, so that the team is aware of this sentiment.

@Brigby, I strongly urge you to suggest to the team to keep Coalition events to the weekend. This week has been a great example. Two non-coatlition events during the week, and one Coalition event coming up this weekend (RtO).

Those of us who work full time and have a coalition we care about shouldnt be forced to taking extended "bathroom breaks" during work hours just to clear nodes.

If another B4T event happens during the middle of the week, I know my coalition (and likely many more) will suffer because of it.

    Please!!!!!

This does make some amount of sense, but I don't think the logically choice is to keep all coalition events to weekends. Some people would prefer to play games during the week and use their weekend for engaging with friends and family. Different populations are going to have different problems.

Instead, we need a creative solution to make events anytime playable. Less nodes, longer recharge time, more max nodes, less starting nodes, etc. should all be considerations.

So much this. Personally I feel like they need to remove recharges entirely and give all matches up front. They only hinder people's ability to play the game. A game shouldn't be hindering people's ability to play it. Some players don't want all the charges up front for some reason or other but they can just pretend they only get X up front and 1 more every X hours and it will be no different. Failing that, max charges on a node should never fill up within the first 24 hours of the event start. If max charges were larger and they could figure out how to extend the event end times by 6-12 hours without adding more recharges, things would be just dandy.

Well...I still stand by my opinion you quoted, but if they did make the nodes start with one charge and have a max of 5, that should give most players the flexibility to play when they want even during the week.
