-Added in new random rewards for finishing Versus battles. In addition to the normal 70/140 Iso-8 rewards, it is now possible to pull any 1* or 2* character. These Comic Cover rewards are balanced in frequency so that the overall Iso-8 rewards assuming that you sell all covers is equal to the previous rewards in Versus.
- Adjusted odds of 2* characters in the Standard Pack upwards by 20% compared to their earlier odds. These extra odds were taken from the 1* character odds, so 3*+ odds are unaffected.

Seems like good news for newer players.
Now you guys need to figure out a way to make the 3 star transition a bit easier. Especially when you will be adding multiple 3/4 star characters in the coming weeks diluting the pool even further.0 -
I actually think these changes make a lotta sense. There was a gap developing in the 2 star range and this will help them a lot.
It IS a little odd to change falcon in the middle of his tourney but thats a minor gripe all things considered.0 -
The extra ISO will be nice, definitely.0
-
good changes for mid level players!0
-
Thank god for that new sell all button!0
-
Nice! Looks like good changes all around!0
-
And I just got CStorm instead of ISO!
In the rewards window, when we can see where did the reward come from, it states "Versus Reidolphin".0 -
Evolutionary change. Their bread and butter comes from token packs and roster slots. This will just "encourage" new players to buy roster slots sooner/more often. Helps compensate for nerfing the the placement rewards in events. I assume the chance at a 2* is lower than the other rewards to maintain the ISO rate and won't be an equal chance of 70/1*/140/2*.
Falcon changes are a nice balance between the original high percentage and the nerfed percentage. Lessons learned that percentage based skills are a no-no for good balance.
Nerf to a 1*. Oh my! Looks like a precursor to the gold storm coming down the road.0 -

%'s - Not always, but yes. Percents work fine for things like Daken's Healing & Heat since they keep that ability useful for him at all levels. A support ability that scales like that however will just cause the problem that it was in that it makes lower leveled versions more valuable than higher.
1* nerf - Coincidence really. As stated in the Upcoming Changes, Storm was cascading and causing mayhem with the ability as it was which was exacerbated at higher levels with AI.0 -
Doh! I should've started the Falcon PvP and taken advantage of my low leveled Falcon's percentage Inspiration if I knew the change was coming mid-tournament...0
-
Now I can finally get that black OBW cover I've been waiting over a month for.0
-
I may actually finish my OBW now! haha0
-
Just went to fight some retals in Falcon PVP and saw cover rewards. This is a really nice change. Many of these will just get sold off, but I'm certainly not going to be bummed to have max covered unleveled 2* characters. They may get some ISO sunk into them eventually when they're featured for PVEs, or just look pretty along the way. Very happy to see this.0

Only a month? Im already pretty well into my 3* transition and still are missing two for her black!0 -
IceIX wrote:Yep, the odds on the 1*/2* drops along with the 70/140 equal out so that you'll still be gaining ~105 Iso-8 per match in Versus assuming that you sell every single Comic Cover you gain.0
-
I really like the percent change for 2* covers from standard packs without it effecting the chances of getting 3* and 4* covers. It'll make standard packs a little more worth getting.0
-
This is a refreshing change. One that seems to help the mid level player. It does, however, raise the question will anyone buy a standard token for 500 ISO again? I guess if you are going 100k at a time for 3*s, but that's about the only time.0
