well booster crafting has been with us a month now and it’s not all doom and gloom.  Ok. I see a few more , let’s say, interesting decks but my win/lose ratio is about the same so not all bad

with regards cards. I need one more mythic to finish off HOD but that’s more a sign that the set has been around too long rather than a reflection on booster crafting

then final 5 rares and 78 mythics across all the sets and i can sit back and relax.  Job Dobe. Unless anyone knows a way of getting masterpieces guaranteed?

So has anyone maxed out yet?

Masterpieces, in my opinion, shouldn't ever be a guarantee. They're already incredibly OP, and the re-roll policy seemed to only help make sure people could get one if they already had all the mythics in the pack.

In my case, disregarding masterpieces, I have Origins complete and am missing two mythics to complete Kaladesh.

@Llorence. Very little.  Just play a lot. I have only ever spent real money on PWs.

Not sure of the reroll policy, but I have two MP’s and certainly don’t have all the mythics of any set.  Heck still missing many commons from every set.

I started playing just when AKH released. Have played almost every match in every event since and saved every dupe from the start.
Spent most of my crystals on cards and have bought some PWs with cash.

This got me to a complete collection with Origins, AKH and HOU after crafting my last missing ones in these sets.
On the other hand, I only have a handful of mythics from KAL, AER and Legacy and nowhere near complete commons/uncommons.

I've got all of Origins, most of legacy (minus a handful or two of mythics), missing about half the mythics in standard but have all the non-mythics.

I'm salty about masterpieces, probably because I've always got a tinykitty mythic from my 400 crystal elite pulls, maybe I'll feel differently once I have one though

The policy is gone now, but in theory, if you had all the mythics, and opened a purple pack, you could just keep submitting a ticket stating you got a duplicate until you got a masterpiece.

I own two myself, neither form purple packs. But I admittedly don't open many of those. Just do my judgment based off what percentage of mythics from an offering I'm missing and want.

I've completed Origins and AKH rares so far, no complete set of Mythics from any set yet.  But I've only been playing for 6 months.

If i may correct you: Some are OP, others are just pieces of tinykitty like avatar of woe, boil, counterspell, ornithopter, greaves helm abd gauntlet etc. Those cards are so bad they shouldnt even be uncommons.

So I disagree with the argument that they are OP and therefore shouldnt be guaranteed.

Avatar of woe is way better than people give it credit for. It's not tier 1 but it's way better than an uncommon. I'm sick of people trashing Avatar of Woe :P Ornithopter is also very underrated

I don't have it to know for sure, but I would think Counterspell is pretty powerful, especially if you're paired off against a planeswalker you know will be throwing lots of spells at you like Ob Nixilis, Saheeli, or Sorin

Ornithopter is one of the best cards in the game. Not kidding, not sarcasm. It's a super cost effective flying blocker. You know all those take less than X damage objectives? Oh, yeah and it's colorless so you can use it with every PW. Let that sink in. I thought it sucked too until I got and used it in almost every deck from then on.

Ornithopter is indeed awesome. I love it.

But I don't think it sheds a very flattering light on Avatar of Woe if it's "better than an uncommon"  :p
