Boosted 4* Grocket at the end of the PVP season.. joy!

Well, at least it’s boosted Grocket for only one event. Oh look! He has a boosted Guardians partner that fully complements his colors. No point attacking any of the Epic players with level 470+ boosted Legendaries this time. That’ll be, what, 15,000 damage per match-3? Still, Unstable ISO-8 should be easy enough. Drax, Grocket and... Nico?! Eh, heh, heh. Only problem is, with the other two, she won’t tank a single color to get her blue to activate, but how fat are those strike tiles going to get?

Yeesh, calm down. They just got back from vacation yesterday. Sure, it would have been nice to have this yesterday, but in the grand scheme of things it isn't a big deal. It usually takes the better part of a day to get back into your routine when you've been gone that long. Not to mention there were probably lots of meetings so everyone could touch base on what projects they're working on in the new year, etc.

There are times when lack of communication is a legitimate issue. In my estimation, this ain't it.

There are times when lack of communication is a legitimate issue. In my estimation, this ain't it. 

It's not about yesterday.

It's about not giving us more information.

Why not give us the next 4 or 5 PVPs and PVEs?
They're not making these up on the fly, they're planned weeks in advance.

At least i sure hope they are.

We’re just getting to the end of the latest new character’s featured event. Of course we’re not getting a new release tomorrow. Probably next week, along with the start of the new season. That’ll be two weeks past what would otherwise have been Chavez’s release event.

They've also said that it was an oversight in a previous character release to require a character for SHIELD Training that was not yet in tokens.  If they have another one before next season, they might end up doing the same thing with America Chavez.

This might be the reason for the delay then. They could just change the require characters to something else also, but I guess they don't want to do that...

Oh well, just hope the new character is who I think it is . 

America Chavez felt good on paper, but not that great when I actually played her.

That's what they pretty much did right before going on break. I suppose they could have included all this info we got today in that update as well, knowing that it was unlikely they would have had an update out on time the first day back. I was looking forward to an update yesterday and disappointed not to see it, but life goes on.  

As long as I've been coming to the forums (August '16), I seem to recall them only ever released the events about a week or so in advance. You're right, they probably do have them planned out weeks in advance, and I don't know why they don't do, say, a "month-at-a-glance" type thing. Maybe all that info at once would make it harder to track down any given individual event. I know appreciate that there's only ever about a weeks worth of info I need to keep track of, and @Brigby does a pretty good job of archiving the old stuff and keeping the relevant info front and center. Barring the occasional copypasta, that is.

Maybe it was different back in the day, but I guess it's something I just don't consider getting worked up over.

The current season ends in 4 days (Sunday).  The next new character should be released a week from tomorrow (Thursday the 11th). That will be the day America enters tokens as well.  Players can hoard in anticipation if they choose.  America should also be in the presumed “(character) and Friends” vault, or at least be one of 3 characters that will show up.  So it won’t be another oopsie situation, like with MEH.

Yes, all Events that vary between 3 or 4 days have a 48 hour sub in the 4 day version. So there’s a 48 hour sub, I believe it’s the second one this time.

i disagree america is good especially with 5* ap generators or ones that create color tiles like Phoenix

i disagree america is good especially with 5* ap generators or ones that create color tiles like Phoenix

Even using AP boosts with her and 5* characters means crit tile spam from turn 2 for a good chunk of damage.
