    I totally agree, but I beat him with creatureless Ajani so much that I got bored of that too lol

    *full circle* and this is why Bolas is no fun to fight.  Either too difficult to beat with some decks or possible but not really an enjoyable fight. lol

    550 HP or something like that, plus no creatures just turns it into a grind.

    With the right cards, Bolas is very fast and easy.

    Pyromancers Goggles+Coming of the Second Sun with Elspeth is my goto choice for this.
    Add Gideons Defeat and you will not need to kill of his creature either for easy full ribbons.

    I just used Captured by the Consulate, but that's a smarter idea.

    I beat Bolas with _creatureful_ Nahiri in the beginning, not safe or reliable but I actually might be able to make it better now!
    It was mostly giving haste to lifelink creatures and beating him down, didn't matter if he killed things I'd just play more. My old version was fragile though.

    You have to consider that creatureless certainly was NOT the intended approach to the fight.  Just the exploit of deck design for this fight that the player base gravitated toward.

    I'm all for PvE events, PvP is something I've hated very much ever since I first had to play such an event. Playing against another player's deck can take ages - for absolutely nothing in way too many cases because the AI cascades several million gems each turn while the player usually gets nothing at all.
