    true and i had tried that but dont have exert influence so it was to many cards to bring off reliably so i just moon them to keep them 0/1 and mine just grows lol

    i dont have so much to steal a creature and takes up cards spots that i could use for ai clubbing goodness, so i tend to just use my chump blocker after i know i have a replacement is all

    Also let's not forget that treasures are coming out in Ixalan, and I fully anticipate that this mechanic will likely be introduced as single-shield supports that give you mana when they break (Basically the same thing as Vessel of Volatility)

    If that's the case, then his mana potential in this next set will be pretty amazing.
