Deadpool Vs. MPQ PVE-The tapping PVE event

As the other tapping threads have gotten a lot of feed back, the event just so happens to fall in our laps at the right time, oh and look what 5* is boosted this event.  THANOS!!!!!!  This is the perfect event to become a tapper on, and this is how to do it.

Deadpool VS. MPQ

2-48 hours subs

1st sub:

Make sure you start as you normally would and do your clears, 4 times on each node (minus any yellow nodes) to start the timers.  After 24 hours when they all refresh, you will do 1 and only 1 clear to start these timers.  If you know how long it takes you to do your full grind, you can add however much time you want to on this for tapping.  Example, it would take me about 35-45 mins depending on the event. Once you decided how long you want to tap for, lets say you want to do 1 hour extra, what you will do is start tapping 1:35-45 before end of the event.  With boosted Thanos, (mine is base level 474 and will be boosted level 564) you will do massive amounts of damage.  This is a great time to have a deep roster because you will kill all of them.  You will target the hard node with Professor X, Nick Fury and Grey Suit Black Widow.  PX has low health and you will be able to wipe out the team very quickly.  This will give you 3 points after you do the normal clears for it. You can keep doing this for a long time.  Once you get to your normal clear time for the sub, start the rest of your clears.  Once done, go back to this node.  It will have around 6-7 points on it.

2nd sub:

Same as 1st sub, do the normal clears and 24 hr clear.  For this sub, you will target the node that will only give you 2 points per clear, which Is Doctor Doom and Doom bots.  Reason being is the hard node is Kingpin Daken and Sentry.  All of them are higher health and will take longer to do.  You will follow the same pattern as above to tap tap tap this node.  You could also do the 2nd yellow node with Deadpool.  This node has Loki in it plus you can use a loaner DP 3*.  That way you are only killing 1 character for this.

I would imagine some others have some feedback on this, but I think this would be a good test for some people to tap that never have.  Time to get the tapping on!!

Thank you Mr. Rockett.  your guide has inspired me!  I will tap-tap-tap to victory! I missed T10 in Honor Among Thieves - and I suspect it's because I didn't tap-tap-tap enough.

Not anymore!  Top rewards are within my reach! All I have to do is tap-tap-tap! Based on final scores for my bracket, it seems obvious that tap-tap-tap is required if you want the 4* cover (at least in scl4)

I sure hope they never change this awesome feature!!

I know I'd much rather spend hours tapping while my brain works on something else than playing smart and being rewarded for it! This event should be perfect for gaining top rewards without actually doing anything requiring skill or strategy! Awesome!

I see our dear friend Rockett us forgotten to add the optimal team for doing this.

May I suggest pairing Thanos with DD (who will dip below 50% easily, make strikes to hit harder and faster and then heal. Over and over) and a Boosted R&G3 (who will go low health and trigger a cascade on a yellow match to rip through the opposing team while healing).

    #Tap #TapTap #Tapataptappetytaptaptap..tap

Actually, if you’re truly committed to the cause, you wait til the 24 hour markfor full refreshes, then just start tapping the suggested node for 23 hours

I've always been nervous to try it, but you've inspired me to give this "tapping" thing a try. I'm excited to be able to earn the rewards that I used to get for playing the game optimally.

I might try to go for longer, maybe tap for 3-4 hours before the end of the sub. Is this recommended? It seems like it's an even better way to rack up the points.

@broll personally you will always find me in SL1.9.1 or 2.  All depends on how many of my ally mates and friends jump to start.

Umm, isn't that pretty much what PvE is? At least that's my typical PvE experience - and I don't engage in the "tapping" described by Rockett (though my mindless play style is usually good enough for top ten, which may  say something about PvE).

No offense, as the first part of your comment was meant in jest, but its the second part I have to call shenanigans on. I assume you're referring to "optimal play" as smart. Is it really smart to let a game tell you when to start, when to stop, and dictates how much daily time you have to play?

This is my first foray into a mobile game so I might just be oblivious to the usual mobile standards of play, but I'm from the console/arcade generation. I tell the game when I'll start, when I'll stop, and how much time I'll play per day.

I'm against "tappers" and "optimal play" people. I think both suck (the game style, not the people). I'm hoping the war between the factions creates something better than both. I won't hold my breath though.

Ha, probably just alienated myself from everyone on the Forum.

If running Thanos I'd suggest OML, Thanos, and x23. But with Thanos buffed, his friendly fire will likely quickly overwhelm those heals.
Thanos OML X23 means X23 tanks 0 colors and will never heal.

One is the subset of the other, so I guess that makes it a civil war?

And, nah, no alienation, everyone knows PvE sucks.
    You spelled PvP wrong :-p

the self damage from thanos will be more than 8k. There is no way that you can keep tapping using thanos. On the other hand, are you planning to kill the first guy by using match damage purely? That will be slow. Dd is great but I doubt that dd will be able to heal fast enough.

If this is your typical PvE, then you could be playing a lot better. Optimal (non-tapping) play requires planning, concentration and the maximum efficiency you can muster. And I'm not making any of this up.

If we ever get past ranked rewards, I would agree with you. But as long as you are gunning for top spot, you do have to play within the constraints of the game. That's true of almost any multiplayer online game, by the way.

Only in construct. But I hope every player out there taps away. Get your tap shoes on, people!
